On the road, Newbury Park. Eastern Avenue goes from Wanstead to Southend and as my grandparents lived off it till 1975 (grandma anyway) I knew it well.

When I was leaving the house recently, I looked across the street and noticed my neighbour's trees were full of corellas (white cockatoos).

She is a fotogenic feline, isn't she? Love that tree full of birds, by the way!

A couple of days ago the cart on the left was here alone, looking like it was waiting for a soccer match to start. Today it had been joined by a smaller friend, and I'm left wondering who or what they are waiting for?

Our first snow of the winter only about 1cm. This was about 10.00am when I took Lady for her morning walk

I'm with Gees "A reminder of warmer days last summer". This is one of my favorite places to go in summer. To the right of the sandstone cliff is a wonderful white sand beach and clear (but cold) waters of Lake Superior. If you look in the middle of the picture you'll see three kayaks enjoying the day. Hurry up summer I'm ready!

Great alliteration, but I am wondering, who is Fred?

"Great alliteration, but I am wondering, who is Fred?" Could it be my husband (he's Fred)?

Tori, I love your photo!

Looking up through the trees at the moon (the trees in the resort were lit up at night). I rather like the effect. I think I might get reprints of this photo and use them in my card-making.

Since today(7 Feb) is Charles Dickens Birthday here is a photo of Nelson Street Music Hall Newcastle

The blue plaque has the following inscription

MUSIC HALL NELSON STREET CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE

CHARLES DICKENS
1812-1870
Charles Dickens gave public readings of his works in this theatre during 6 visits to Newcastle between 1852 and 1867

"A finer audience there is not in England"

MotherGoose now I love your photo too. What a brilliant shot with the moons cooperation!

The photo I took above is about 5 miles from my home.

This next photo is of the beach next to the cliffs. My husband took this picture from his powered parachute. That is a motorized vehicle with large fan with a parachute. He has taken great aerial photos over the lake and islands.

Tori , the photo is gorgeous, and I hate to give this reminder to you and all members that photos should only be your own work. Sorry!
