What sunny songs you like to listen? Songs that are great at listening on a hot, sunny summer day. There are many songs that I like to listen at sunny, hot days, but that I couldn't stand at winter. Here are some of mine's.
"Mambo #5" by Lou Bega "Amber" by 311 "Sweat alalalalalong" by ...? (I don't know the band)
And many others... What are yours?

Two sunny songs I love: "In The Summertime", by the English one-hit wonder Mungojerrie (from the cat in Eliot's "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" that the musical "Cats" came from) and Johnny Nash's reggae hit "I Think I Can Make It Now" with "It's gonna be bright bright sunshiny day". tjoeb};>

Three I can think of.....On the Boardwalk, Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding and Top Down, Summer in the City. I can always remember the songs, but rarely who sang 'em! ![[Smile]](images/icons/smile.gif)

It's not just the ARTISTS you can't remember, sis! I dunno about you...but I USUALLY stayed clothed for most of the summer! The Lovin' Spoonful had a song "Summer In the City" which went..."Hot Town...Summer in the City..." and I think that's the song you were referring to! But if you prefer TOP DOWN...well, be my guest! Does get a tad humid and heated out your way! *oh HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA* ![[Big Grin]](images/icons/laugh.gif)

Okay, lefois, so I can't remember the TITLES either! Better than your young son who ran about the house singing the YMCA hit song "MUNCHO MAN" at the top of his lungs! It must be a family trait.......

I remember last summer when I was listening a lot to "East side" by Smoother, and "Short skirt long jacket" by Cake... The good memories!

Definatly Here's where the story ends by the Sundays. That's a song that always cheers me up and makes me think of good weather. Actually ideal for the start of the spring! Another great song for sunny days is Lazy sunday afternoon of the Small Faces. Just lying and doing nothing Tom

The Boys of Summer by Don Henley - you've got your hair slicked back and those wayfarers on baby - I could listen to it cold or hot.
Wake Up Boo - by the Boo Radleys. They also sang a song called Wishing I was Skinny which I often do when the summer comes around!!
I think Hey Jude by the Beatles always sounds about 50 times better in the summer. So does Damn, I wish I was your lover by Sophie B Hawkins.
