For all of the Elvis Costello fans here, I suggest picking up his new album "When I Was Cruel" I was a bit leery about it being as good as his older works, but I am pleasantly surprised. The old, angry Elvis is back!! If anyone else has it, I'd like to know your opinion. I'm really excited, he's coming to Cleveland in June, and I'm planning on going. This will be my first EC show. He's one of the few artists today that I'd drive four plus hours to see.

Sorry, this topic just sort of jumped out at me. Sitting at work listening to "Spike" at the moment -aint it beautiful! [Big Grin]

Yeah, I always get a little edgy when new stuff comes out. Especially with performers like Elvis, who I think has done pretty much everything, and has so much expectation to live up to....

Thanks Indie Queen, will check it out (I don't even know if it's out here yet, I'd heard whispers, but am pretty much a music hermit at the moment!

I was listening to When I Was Cruel and The Very Best of Elvis Costello and the Attractions all day at work. People stayed clear of my office! I guess my co-workers can only hear "Alison" so many times.

I'm not sure if it's out in Australia yet.
