And that many of our quizzyland folks like Boys Bands and that I personally don't find them particularly offensive, especially when they at least dance and sing for their money! At least they have to be fit specimens of young manhood!

How come it's always guys complaining about them anyhow? I'm starting to think that they might possibly be a bit jealous of all the attention teenage girls give them. After all, men idolize pinups and singing stars and it's just natural. But when girls do it, you don't like being compared to the hand selected pre fabricated versions of male teenage beauty?
We know you basically differentiate between female stars and your peers.

Why does it seem that it's mostly guys who like to criticize "boy bands"? Probably because most women these days are too busy to be bothered with such drivel.

I do have a cure for people who have kids who listen to these clones - just grab your head/earphones and crank up your own favorite music. These boys will be gone when they get too old to be singing to 9 year old girls anyway.

You don't find little boys going out and buying pop records because they think that the singers are cute, even though they may spend a lot more time watching MTV if they are! Little girls like to buy records by acts where the music is secondary to the pristine, plastic, pretty boy packaging. The whole "non threatening boys" thing. Boys just think it's silly, and a bit lame. Then there's also the fact that they may not be so keen on the competition for the affections of the little girls...how do you live up to that? Anyway, boy-bands should have no place in the life of an adult male. Unless they're in the band. Or the manager. Or they're gay. Etc....

Hmmm, ah ha, so you never watched Wonder Woman with delight? Or else, well you'd have to see the boys about my son's age, they all watch the "Charmed" girls with great interest, but they'd die before admitting it!

Actually I think that some of the kids like to imitate them to get attention from the girls.

And you mean to tell me that anyone who plays Tomb Raider, is just doing it for the game? Uh huh!

Didn't the boys have crushes on the Spice Girls or something?
