There used to be a programe on teh radio called "nine at nine" and they would play nine songs about one topic. Can we do it? I'll pick a topic and you say what songs have it in the title or are a main theme in the song. How about...
RAIN or storms etc...

Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head

There is also the lesser-known "Here's That Rainy Day" from a forgotten musical "Carnival In Flanders" by Burke and Van Heusen. Bette Midler sang it to Johnny Carsen on his pentultimate "Tonight" show. tjoeb};>

Here's That Rainy Day for me will always be the song that made me love the trombone in a big band as I played in one as a saxophonist. It's a really beautiful melody.

'Rhythm Of the Rain' was by The Cascades.
On our local 'oldies' radio station, every morning they feature 'The Classic Nine At Nine', in which every days' selection follows a topic or theme. It's required listening for people like me who prefer their musical indulgences on the quirky side.
