Hehehe...

Coldplay- Parachutes (Seems like everybody likes this one)

Linkin Park- Hybrid theory (I LOVE Linkin Park)

Cold- 13 ways to bleed on stage (A little sad in my opinion but I doubt everybody would think that)

Smoother- Chasing the dragon (For those who likes to dance a little but not too much... Listen to this album on a sunny day of summer, that's too good)

Starsailor- Love is here (This album always gives me the chills when I'm listening to any of the songs... That's too beautiful, a little like Coldplay)

There would be others but I can't get my mind on these...
Maybe Limp Bizkit 'Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water' would be good too, in my opinion.

Oh yes, you're right Tanzen. Weezer's album is wonderful (though very short). And also...

Staind-Break the cycle
Default-The fallout

Thought I'd drag this up rather then start a whole new one. Ok, so who's got an opinion on the best albums released last year (that would be 2002)

I think I'll start off with:

Elvis Costello - When I Was Cruel
George - Polyserena
Weezer - Maladroit
The Breeders - Title tk
MGF - Paging Mr Strike
Audioslave - Audioslave
Red Hot Chilli Peppers - By The Way
System of a Down - Steal This Album

...and I'll probably be back when I think of more...

I can't even remember 2001. But, for 2002....

Wilco's "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot"

Jimmy Buffet and Jim Croce's CD - Remember Us
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells VIII
Don McLean - Sing-a-long With Don
ACDC - ABBA Classics

Seriously, I did buy a one CD. Bowies Heathen. Brilliant. Unreleased stuff from the early 70's, written songs never recorded. Blues, pop, techno - and an extension of vocals that have been missing for a while. It's very melodic and worth an ear.
