Party Live in '85 (Beat the Bootleggers) - The Kings

They may have been one-hit wonders with "This Beat Goes On/Switchin to Glide", but this entire CD is just good old, hard driving, fun times rock'n'roll!

Maybe Mariah's tummy should go solo? Might be a messy seperation, right enough.

I have to break the rules on this one as I like different genres, i will pick three, one in each category:

Pop/Folk: Dan Fogelberg: The Netherlands

Jazz: Pat Metheny: Secret Story

Classical: Aaron Copland: Appalachian Spring/The Tenderland

So difficult ... it depends why I'm listening.

To inspire me to get off FunTrivia and work on my History ID's: Achtung Baby by U2

Music to wait to - in a train, at work, getting ready for a date: Factory Showroom by They Might Be Giants.

Music to lose myself in: Book of Secrets by Loreena McKennitt.

Music to work to: The Joshua Tree by U2

And finally, music to feel like I know my place in the world: Princesses Nubiennes, de Les Nubians. (Heather, help! when the name of the group starts with Les, and you put a de before it - do you use the contraction and get Des Nubians? Or not?)

If i'm in an angry mood I love Converge - Petitioning the Empty Sky. If I'm in a sad or lonely mood I love Dashboard Confessional - The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most.
