Ok, I heard this song on the way home today on the classic rock station, and although there was no distinct chorus, I tried to remember as many lyrics as I could. One went something like "this ain't no disco, this ain't no CBGB, this ain't no..." etc. etc...Another lyrics further on in the song went something like "I've changed my hair so many times I don't know who I am anymore."

It sort of sounded like the guy who sung that other song that had the lyrics "[spoken] this is not my beautiful house! this is not my beautiful wife!"...haha, not doing too good with all of these lyrics today...please help with that first one!! Thanks!

The band is The Talking Heads....they do both songs you described...the first one is "Life During Wartime"...(if I'm not mistaken)...great band...great songs...actually..their first album is my favorite.."Talking Heads 77"...they were pretty big in the late '70s and early '80's..and sound just as good today..they are well worth you delving into...all of their albums were pretty great...regards, Lucille
