Music is a huge part of my life, I buy CDs as often as possible. Right now I have about 250-260 CDs. How many does everybody else here have?

Music is definitely the most important thing in my life.
If I had the money I'd probably have about a thousand CDs by now. Unfortunately, since I don't have any money anymore to spare - after the bills are paid, my CD collection is stalled at about 150.
However,I've also got 300 tapes in my collection.

Around 100.

I own 44 CDs, and often take out 10 more from the local libraries. tjoeb};>

55 LP's,

I even have a couple of 8-trak tapes.

I have about 60 or 70 cds, I'm not even gonna try to think about how many tapes records I have. I'd have more, of course, but I have a pub to support!

450 CD's, about 800 vinyl records, 100 45 rpm's. My hubby and I are avid music collectors. We have a varied library.

I'm an obsessive Cd buyer- I have about 400 I think and always seem to be finding new ones to buy!

I've been collecting music since I was a kid. As a result, I have over 2,000 albums, 300-400 45's, a couple hundred cassette tapes, and between 500-600 CD's.
(And yes, I do still have a turntable to play my records on. Can't be without one of those. LOL!)

Okay, here it goes:

50 LP's and no record player anymore
recently threw away all my cassettes (200)
200 CD's (including 50 CD's of the Sisters Of Mercy )

Not buying much anymore, mainly because lack of time.

I will say about 150 CDs that I listen to, and uncounted that I don't listen anymore. About 300 tapes. No LPs.

Cd's? Weren't those used in the '90's?

Wimm - don't throw your records away there are record decks/Tape recorders on sale so you can re-record then transfer to your computer and then burn to cd - check out the prices for the records/cassettes that you have. (then grieve for the ones you threw away) .
I've just obtained the Travelling Wilbury's CD's Vol, 1 ,3 and 4 1/2 my original tape verisons are a bit(well nearly inaudible) worn - Internet price for original issue whatever the condition - over the moon!!!) CD version - priceless if you can find it.

My older sister has around 72 cd's. Honestly, I only have one.

I only have 15 CD's, 20 vinyls I can't stand to throw away..like Born In the USA, Blues Brothers. I still have my turntable, but it's not hooked up, and a Big box of cassettes I never play but can't bear to toss (like Tapestry, Jesus Christ Superstar, Carly Simon..that kind of stuff).

My husband has his CD's, but most of my CD's are Soundtracks.

I've got about 460 CDs & 100 or so cassettes. I started on vinyl, then recorded everything onto cassette, when at uni (couldn't carry/store the vinyl.) Started buying CDs about 10 years' ago & replaced lot of the cassettes.
Before Christmas, got a CD recorder & have been transferring tracks from cassette to CD (especially stuff that is not available on CD.) Takes time, but good quality recordings - you even transfer the hiss & scratches, to make it sound authentic ! Can play the old tracks in the car again - great !

I do not have many cds at all.. probably about 30... i wish i could have more...

I had 87 CDs the last time I counted them.
I'll have 5 more CDs tomorrow, yeeeaaahhhh!!!

I have about 30 cds, but the collection keeps growing.

Not much um only about 10-12 i think. I work only 3 hrs a week for not much and i have to save my money for clothes and other stuff.
