No what the heck is a quadrilateral? Anything with four sides! Squares, rectangles, diamonds, trapezoids, rhombuses (rhombi?), and any other four-sided shapes are all game. Why limit yourself to squares when you can have the entire family of shapes?

Have fun!

(If you noticed, I'm trying to slowly push this back to a Monday start, so expect this to go for two weeks and a day or two...)

This card that I made at the crop I attended this evening has four sides, so will it do? smile

I don't have a picture to offer, but I'll offer my Latin knowledge - the plural of 'rhombus' in Latin is indeed 'rhombi', so I think, Leo, you can get away with that in English smile In fact, dictionary.com says you can use either 'rhombuses' or 'rhombi' :P

Here is a picture of the International Culinary School in Indianapolis, Indiana. The building is made up of all trapezoids, and is an impressive structure, and it's "just" a cooking school! smile

The Scoreboard at Fenway Park, Boston (I achieved one of my '10 sports spectating ambitions' by getting to a game there while we were living in the US for 6 months in 2010. Loved it!)

Mike - Fenway Park has brought back many old memories, I lived in Boston from 82 to 84, the first ever live baseball game I saw was at Fenway Park, and I was lucky enough to go several times while I lived in Boston.

Our kitchen renovation has been going on for over 8 months now and it's STILL not finished. There are several people I want to kill at this point, including the hubby. But I digress...

Here is something in the kitchen that IS complete - my new bank of quadrilaterals:

spanishLiz and szabs, we had an absolutely wonderful time at Fenway (and the rest of Boston too - what a great city for visitors!) - we had great seats near first base. Having lived for several years in Canada (before kids), I was supporting the visiting Blue Jays, but the Sox dominated. So our family knows what the 'Green Monster' is!
