HA! Deccan Chargers played spoilsports in more ways than one in the final round of matches....They had nothing left in the competition, were 1-15 in matches played at Hyderabad over 3 years and were expected to turn up and roll over in their last 2 matches as well...instead, their bowlers, led by Dale Steyn, suddenly woke up and the Chargers pulled the rug from under the feet of both Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore,knocking them both out of contention for a play-off spot!
After the league stage of IPL 2012, Delhi Daredevils, Kolkata Knightriders, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Superkings qualified for the play-offs, with CSK sneaking in on better run-rate following Bangalore's defeat against the Chargers  What odds that they won't make the most of it and go on to make it hat-trick of IPL titles?
Over here in our comp, BxBarracuda made a valiant last round bid to get on to the podium, while LeoDaVinci probably threw away his opportunity to be on the podium by staying away the last round! BxBarracuda picked his first HoF for the comp this round and added 2 sole pick points as well, but forgot to pick a banker N-Bomb probably lost his chance to be on the podium with just 2 right picks this round for the spoon...otherwise he definitely should have been up there as well! 
That means the podium for IPL 2012 here in our comp is:

2. Sypher
3. Howie72
Well done to the 3 medallists! The Banker system was what determined the comp, as most of us were pretty even in our picks throughout the 9 rounds. This is how we finished in terms of correct picks this year:

"Dave's corner": The tipping comp organizer finished 9-6 in his picks with his home team Deccan Chargers! They finished 4-11 in IPL 2012 with one match washed out. Both srini and the Chargers however finished second to last in their respective comps   |
