Do not try at home!
My computer broke so I bought it a one-way ticket to the floor. When I went to pick it up, I'd forgotten to unplug it. I must have touched connection G32 on the Motherboard because as I went to pick the mess up off the floor, I found myself connected here at FT which was the last place I'd surfed to. I found I was connected and decided to write this memo letting you all know we just need to stick our fingers in a wall outlet and the Internet is already there. No expensive PCs, Laptops, Notepads or smartphones to buy! April Fool.

And April Fool jokes have to be played by midday or the joke is on the person who plays them.

Please explain your joke. I really dont get it.

April Fool jokes often fall into the unique genre of saying the impossible has occurred and when the fool is at the point of believing, 'April Fool' is invoked. Ren you probably didn't get to the stage of being taken in by the presentation. The impossible act of directly connecting (ala "Lawnmower Man") to the WWW was said to have happened. I cannot explain any more than that.

I got it and thought it was funny.
