A laptop? Tablet? Nook? Ipad? Anything? Do you own any type of electronic? And do you use it often?

The latest acquisition is the new iPad. It's only a 16 gigabyte one but this will be enough for the purpose it was bought (games, Kindle books and browsing the Net). We don't really need to fill it up with music, films and photos. Super definition on that little screen. So it would be with the number of pixels it has. Apart from that, we have all sorts of electronic items here. Two Desktop computers and a TV in every room, apart from the room where you wouldn't expect to find one. Almost too much gadgetry to list.

I have a desktop and a laptop.
Books are of the paper variety, only.
Nothing with a touch pad.
My phone is used for voice calls, only. I will not pay a fee for internet, since I have two computers. The texting service is turned off. It has a camera that I've never used.

Let's just say, that while I often read this board, I will not be answering any tech questions anytime soon

I have a kindle for books. (I'm so rural and I love that I can have a book in the touch of a screen.)

I don't have a cell phone. I actually like going out and not having a phone to answer.

I have a laptop, a Kobo for reading books, ipad which is really my wife's. A cell phone that is just used to make phone calls. One flat screen tv. No stereo as I listen to my music on the computer.

I have a laptop and a desktop and an iPod touch.
That's about it, really. Every now and then I'm tempted to get an iPad but, really, I don't need it.

If I had to keep just one thing it would be the iPod ... I use it for everything!

A laptop, printer/scanner, mobile phone that only makes phone calls (no camera, internet access etc.) digital camera (which I love), 3 x flat screen TVs, DVD player/recorder. Thing that transfers old video recordings to DVD. Several hi-fi systems. Keep looking at various gadgets like kindles, ipad etc, and then convince myself I don't need them.

I enjoy my Skullcandy headphones while watching at least one DVD a day on the portable player with the 9 inch screen.

I used to convince myself I actually needed an item in order to justify buying it. These days though, I'll freely admit to buying purely because of 'want'. That's a good enough reason for me, although we really really needed the new iPad of course.

I am a crafter, I am used to needing things, I expect Lynda is the same.

She certainly is Sue. ..and needling things.
