Funny we have had other colours, but never blue.
Lots of scope for nature pics here, which we seem to do well!

Here's a blue sky above the Darling River at North Bourke in New South Wales. The photo includes the historic North Bourke bridge and a tourist paddle steamer.

Appearances can be deceiving as the river water is normally brown due to the high amount of suspended soil particles.

and for those with an interest in Australian vernacular, 'the back of Bourke' means the middle of nowhere! Bourke is a town on the Darling River a few km downstream from this site....

A piece of Waterford crystal in their factory. I thought they only did clear but that isn't the case.

But Christinap, how long would that beautiful piece of crystal-ware last when Susie is in action?

Good point Mike, but I have high shelves and closed glass doors it can go behind.

It wasn't for sale, it was part of the presentation when you start the tour, it is behind mirrors so it isn't on view, then it is, then it goes mirrored again.

well rats. For 30 years my kitchen has been blue and white and I could have posted lots of relevant pics. We "started" renovating nearly a year ago (not sure it will EVER be finished LOL) so there is no more blue (alas, that's the one and only thing I liked about the overall scheme lol).

Soooooo, am instead posting a pic from Pilar Beach in Cuba (named after Hemingway's boat), which they are trying to turn into a sort of "reserve" (they're not real big on funding "parks" in Cuba - sad, because there are lots of areas that should be protected). In any case, it's quite "blue" ....

I didn't do ANYthing to this photo other than to resize it.

Still in Ireland, I reckon this one is blue enough, no editing to obtain this. I think that this one must have been when we were on a boat.

Crab shell washed up on the beach - that's sand, not gravel.

Thanks, ren, the blue inside the shell was a complete surprise to me.

I wouldn't have seen it but I was searching for a photo for here -- so it's all your doing.

I keep returning here to look at Jake's photo. It's so beautiful, it's heavenly.

After several grey, overcast, rainy days, the sky finally cooperated this afternoon. This was taken twenty minutes ago, in my back yard smile

We now need a new theme. This was just beautiful and thanks all. The new one, as promised, is "Garden".
