The scoring system is the same as last year's race : Kentucky Derby 2011 : which is the same as the Grand National comp earlier this month : Grand National 2012. F = how many of the 10 picks finished in the first 10 placings

the 10th running of the Kentucky Derby tipping comp saw 11 runners line-up at the barriers .. the record line-up is still the 18 who rolled-up to the barriers back in 2008.
the 138th running of the Run For The Roses saw I'll Have Another (15-1) come out of nowhere half way down the straight to win in a boilover. It faded in the betting ring as it was a 12-1 shot when the barrier positions were announced on Wednesday. It was the first time barrier #19 won the Derby .. and 8 players had the hide to pick it!
George95 collects the gold medal .. was the only tipster to have the first five in his ten picks.
it was a four-way dead-heat for 2nd place. N-Bomb and Sypher collected silver and bronze via a countback .. N-Bomb had the winner as his 1st pick vs. Sypher who it as his 8th pick.
tie-breakers were required for all remaining positions except 6th and 9th.
Daddy Long Legs finished last and Take Charge Indy was 2nd last. Four of us have the honour of picking these these two donkeys in our ten picks: BxBarracuda, gtho4, illiniman14 and N-Bomb.
the 3rd leg of the FT Triple Crown is the Melbourne Cup on the first Tuesday in November.
no one has won the FT Triple Crown, and only one person has gone close with 2 of the 3 legs .. szabs won the Kentucky Derby and Melbourne Cup back in 2009.
illiniman14 won the Grand National last month .. George95 and illiniman14 will have the opportunity to emualte szabs in November and win 2 of the 3 legs.
