Sendak died early Tuesday in Danbury, Conn., at age 83, four days after suffering a stroke.

Quite an imagination lost!
I loved something that Gatsby posted this morning on Facebook .. (hope you don't mind me stealing it, Gats!!)

Ah, yes. That quote struck me, too, Copago . Certainly indicates the sort of fellow he was ... where his realities/priorities landed. The world will surely miss the likes of Mr. Sendak.
