The sort of day we have had all too often lately, culminating in huge thunderstorms. This is behind my house, China is over the mountain.

G is for Garden benches, with a squirrel for extra added attraction



Once again, this is my sister's garden. My brother-in-law built the benches. The squirrel had a drink in the bird bath right after this.

That is a lovely garden, and how lucky your sister is to have someone who can build things like benches.

Those trees are unbelievable too What a lovely place!

I thought these were called gavials, but turns out they're actually called gharials.

Well whatever they are they are pretty cute, oh Birthday Boy!

G is for Glanmore National Historical Site, a lovely old Victorian mansion. It was once a doctor's home, now a museum that has had some recent restoration work done, especially to some of the ornate ceilings. The bunting is up for the Grand Re-Opening about a week ago, but could just as easily have been for the Queen's Jubilee
