Back-to-back draws see Sypher step aside for BxBarracuda who, with his eighth straight win, takes over front-running duties (his new high for the season). Eight weeks ago he was in the bottom half of the table in 12th place.
He was the only player in the top seven spots to win. Two more wins and he'll equal the all-time record of ten straight wins, set by Sypher back in season 2005-06
szabs moves up to 4th and wwe84 up to 6th .. they're also new highs for the season. Seven week ago szabs was down in 12th spot; and wwe84 was running 3rd last in 16th place; both of them have lost just one game over the last eight rounds.
New lows - George95 falls to 9th place (no wins over the last four rounds), and N-Bomb has fallen to 10th (no wins over the last six).

Five of the first seven players lost and, at the other end, just two of the bottom seven lost. BxBarracuda was beaten by N-Bomb to bring to an end his run of 8 straight wins. He retains first place by a margin of 2 pts as Sypher also lost.
Howie72 and gtho4 finally won a game .. Howie72 had gone 8 games without a win and gtho4 six without a win. Another loss by illiniman14 extends his unwanted sequence to nine games without a win .. illiniman14 & gtho4 are still looking for their weekly HoF (top goal scorer).
New lows for the season- five games without a win sees George95 drop to 10th. KrivoyRog is down to 17th after three straight losses.

Sypher has his third draw in four games, which allows BxBarracuda to skip away to a 4 point lead, the biggest all season. He was the only player in the first 11 to win.
Behind these eleven, none of the seven players from 12th to 18th lost .. they had 3 wins and four draws!
George95 has now gone 6 games without a win and falls to 11th, a new low for the season .. paper_aero wins again to make it three straight and climbs to 10th, a new high for the season.
Last week Howie72 and gtho4 finally won a game .. they win again. Good grief, wonders will never cease. Another draw by illiniman14 extends his unwanted sequence to ten games without a win .. illiniman14 & gtho4 are still looking for their weekly HoF (top goal scorer).

The first two from last week won, ditto the bottom two. Apart from the two out front and the tail-ender, ozzz2002 was the only player who retained their spot from last week.
No change out front - BxBarracuda still leads Sypher by 4 pts. Third and fourth both lost, which allowed srini701 to jump up from 5th to 3rd, a personal-high for the season .. srini701 is now undefeated in seven. He was back in 10th place four weeks ago.
illiniman14 beat PaulE, to end his horror run of ten games without a win. He remains at the tail of the field as KrivoyRog (2nd last) also won .. illiniman14 and KrivoyRog were the only players in the bottom half of the table to win!
After 15 rounds illinman14 finally scored his first weekly win of the season, to leave gtho4 as the only player without a weekly win.
BxBarracuda leads Sypher by 4 pts, and Sypher leads srini701 by 4 pts .. which means BxBarracuda is a humungous 8 pts in front of the peliton! Three pts cover the 5 players running 3rd to 7th .. and 4 pts cover the next 8 players.
Next week we have first vs. second (BxBarracuda v Sypher) and third last vs. last (KrivoyRog v illiniman14).

First vs. second (BxBarracuda v Sypher) was a stalemate, so there's no change out front. BxBarracuda retains his 4 pts lead.
Third last vs. last (KrivoyRog v illiniman14) was a win to illiniman14 who, after 8 straight weeks at the rear of the field, finally moves off the bottom rung of the ladder with back-to-back wins (he'd won just one of the first 14 games). He was the only player in the bottom six to win! Howie72 replaces him at the rear of the field, which is a new season-low.

A man had just settled into his window seat on the plane when another man sat down in the aisle seat and put his black Labrador Retriever in the middle seat. The first man looks very quizzically at the dog and asks why the dog is allowed on the plane. The second man explained that he is a DEA agent and that the dog is a "sniffing dog". "His name is Sniffer and he's the best there is. I'll show you once we get airborne, when I put him to work."
The plane takes off, and once it has leveled out, the agent says: "Watch this." He tells Sniffer to "search". Sniffer jumps down, walks along the aisle, and finally sits very purposefully next to a woman for several seconds. Sniffer then returns to its seat and puts one paw on the arm of the DEA agent. The agent says, "Good boy", and he turns to the man and says: "That woman is in possession of marijuana, so I'm making a note of her seat number and the authorities will apprehend her when we land." "Say, that's pretty neat" replies the first man.
Once again, the agent sends Sniffer to search the aisles. The Lab sniffs about, sits down beside a man for a few seconds, returns to its seat, and this time, he places TWO paws on the agent's arm. Both leaders lost. Third vs. first (Dizart v BxBarracuda) was a win to Dizart, who replaces Sypher in 2nd place. Sypher has won just one of the last seven games.
Second last vs. last (KrivoyRog v Howie72) was a stalemate, which was enough to lift both of them above illiniman14, who falls back to the rear of the field.
paper_aero wins again to make it five wins over the last six weeks. He moves up into 8th place; the first time he's been in the top half of the table .. 11 weeks ago he was running last (he started the season with five losses in the first six weeks). George95 sees his horror run extend to nine games without a win.
PaulE & paper_aero are the only players in the 90s for goals scored. LeoDaVinci is one behind with 89 goals scored. One of these three should be the first into triple digits.
Two weeks ago illinman14 scored his first weekly win of the season, leaving gtho4 as the only player without one. Dizart and gtho4 were this week's top goal scorers, which plugs the last hole in that column of the form guide.
wwe84 collects his 5th wooden spoon for the season (four of them have come in the last 5 weeks). There are five players still looking for their first spoon.

BxBarracuda returns to his winning form and extends his lead out front to a mouth-watering 6 pts (that's two wins); it's the biggest margin for any leader this season. Second vs. fourth (Dizart v LeoDaVinci) was a win to LeoDaVinci, his 4th straight win. He joins Dizart in equal second place. BxBarracuda and LeoDaVinci were the only players in the first eight to win. Sypher falls off the podium with another loss; he's won just one of the last 8 games. A mere 2 pts now cover the four players running second to fifth. George95 sees his horror run extend to ten games without a win .. he falls to 13th place, his lowest all season. illiniman14 wins his 3rd game in four (before that he'd won once in the first 14 games) to once again lift himself off the bottom of the table. Second vs. third (Dizart vs. LeoDaVinci) was yet another win for LeoDaVinci .. he's now won 5 straight games, and replaces Dizart in 2nd place. Back in Round 10 (nine weeks ago) he was in the bottom half of the table in 10th place. He's a weekly HoF winner for the 7th time this season .. and the 3rd one over the 5 rounds. But wait, there's more .. he was the only one in first seven to win!
It was a different story at the other end of the table -- everyone in the last seven spots won except for illiniman14.

The win by George95 brings to an end a horror run of ten games without a win.

Two weeks ago no-one in the first eight won .. last week just one of the first eight won. This week is a repeat .. just one in the first eight won. In fact, only one player in the first ten spots won their game.
This means that the first eight have, over the last three weeks, won two games between them! BxBarracuda was this week's sole winner, to extend his lead out front to four pts. He'll still be the leader next week, no matter what happens.
Once again, it was a different story at the other end of the table. Two weeks ago everyone in the last seven spots won except for illiniman14. Last week it was everyone except wwe84. This week everyone in the last seven won except for three: ozzz2002, George95 and Howie72. In total, the bottom seven have had 16 wins between them over the last three weeks (compared to just two wins by the first eight).
Sypher climbs one spot to 3rd with another draw; his run is now just one win over the last 11 games. George95 falls to 15th place, another new low for the season. He's now won just one of the last 13 games.
srini701 was thumped 7-3 by paper_aero, who will explain in 200 words or less how he picked 7/10 from those rubbish results. FussBudget won again to make it four straight, and climbs up into 8th place, his highest spot all season .. illiniman14 won again to make it 5 wins from seven games. Although he's stuck on the last rung of the ladder, he is now within striking distance of those above him.
Last week 12 pts separated a podium position from a relegation spot (third vs. third-last). This week the differential is down to just 9 pts.

Unlike the previous three weeks, the wins this week were spread around. BxBarracuda was held to a draw by PaulE but extends his lead out front as LeoDaVinci was beaten by N-Bomb .. in fact the first five all held their spots, as did illiniman14 at the rear .. and the rest of us played musical chairs; no-one retained their position from last week.
George95 is wondering when his horror run will end. He's now won just one of the last 14 games and, for the third straight week, falls to a new low for the season; in 16th place. He was running second before this horror run stared.
paper_aero, on the other hand, won again to extend his run to just two losses in 12 games (of which 7 were wins). He was running 16th (that's 3rd last) 13 weeks ago .. he started the season with 7 losses in the first 10 rounds.
FussBudget lost to Howie72, which brought to an end his run of four straight wins. This was win number six for Howie72 over the last 10 games (he was in last place when this run started).

BxBarracuda again extends his lead out front; he was the only player in the first six to win. He can lose the next two games and he'd still be in front!
Second, third and fourth all drew and retained their spots from last week (they're still separated by a single point). Behind them it was musical chairs for all of us except two: PaulE in 12th and George95 in 16th (aka 3rd last).
George95 lost again to make it four straight; he's now won just one of the last 15 games. He was running second before this horror run started.
paper_aero, on the other hand, won again to make it three straight and climbs to 5th place, a new high for the season. He's now lost just two of the last 13 games (of which 8 were wins). He was way back in 16th place before this streak started .. ditto wwe84, who also won again to make it three straight. He's moved from 16th to 9th over these three weeks.
That's 23 down and 11 weeks to go .. we're now 2/3rds of the way through the season.
