A man was trying to select a boarding school for his 14-year old daughter, and was questioning the school principal.
"What is the school policy on alcohol?", he asked.
"Alcohol is forbidden in all school buildings, and even in the grounds.", replied the principal.
"What about smoking?", asked Dad.
"Cigarettes are also forbidden, and any that are found are confiscated and the student severely disciplined." was the reply.
"And how about dates? What is the policy?"
The principal gave him a puzzled look and replied,
"Well, I guess they are OK, as long as they don't eat too many".
