LeoDaVinci scores his first weekly win for the season which, with two bonus picks, pulls him up from the bottom rung of the ladder.

trev1 collects his 1st wooden spoon for the season. Three players missed the Friday night game but still score a point as a gimme, as all picks lodged were a home win (and the home team won) .. and it was the only game were our picks were identical!

Dizart is still leading the way .. and no change in the first four. The next 10 players are 5 points in arrears; they all swapped positions and will probably do so next week as they're separated by just 4½ pts .. and the next five are separated by a mere 3 points. This leaves wwe84 as the lone ranger at the rear of the field.

szabs is still looking for her first weekly award .. she has no wins and no spoons.

It's a full house this week, everyone lodged picks.

No change in the first five, or at rear of the field. In between, from 6th to 19th, only two players kept their spot from last week.

George95 is this week's winner. He climbs up into 6th place, a new high for the season.

Dizart is still leading the way .. he's the first to reach triple figures. LeoDaVinci continues his climb up from the bottom rung of the ladder .. he's now up into 17th place, 5 pts off the bottom.

Last week trev1 collected his 1st wooden spoon for the season. He collects another one this week to make it back-to-back woods.

szabs collects her first spoon and falls to 19th, a new low for the season. This completes the weekly awards; everyone now has a win or a spoon.

Last week szabs collected her first wooden spoon. This week she scores here first weekly win. The other weekly winner was FussBudget (it was also his first win for the season). This leaves just four players without a weekly win; and three without a wooden spoon.

No change in the first four places. George95 climbs up to 5th place, another new high for the season (his 6th last week was a new high as well). On the other hand, ozzz2002 falls to 18th, a new low for the season.

Apart from the first four and the tail-ender, only two players managed to keep their spot from last week. When you look at the FLC results & upsets, this is no surprise- three games were picked by no-one and only three games got into double figures for correct picks.

There will be more musical chairs next round as a mere 4½ pts cover the 7 players placed 5th to 11th, and 4½ pts also cover the next eight running 12th to 2nd last. The next round is mid-week : FLC [ 19 ] Tue 27th Nov.

That's 18 rounds done and dusted. There are 26 left!

We have eight weekly winners and one wooden spoon. Sypher is the debutante, it's his first weekly win; and for FussBudget it's back-to-back wins. For ozzz2002, his third spoon in six weeks sees him falls to 19th, a new low for the season.

Back in Round 11, the first four were Dizart-gtho4-Sypher-PaulE .. and eight weeks later the same four players are still there (3rd and 4th have swapped places since then). George95 retains 5th place from last week .. eight weeks ago he was way down the ladder in 16th place!

The first five plus the tail-ender were the only players to retain their spot from last week .. the other 15 played-out another rendition of musical chairs.

We're now down to three players without a weekly win: paper_aero, illiniman14 and wwe84 .. and three players without a spoon: gtho4, PaulE and srini701.

LeoDaVinci is this week's winner with 8/12, his second weekly win for the season. His first win was back in week 16, which lifted him off the bottom rung of the table .. at that time he was 29 pts behind the leader. He's now 13 points off the bottom rung and a mere 22½ pts behind the leader, which is a gain of a point a week. At this pace he'll be all over the Dizart's rear view mirror in 22 weeks time, lol .. there are 24 weeks left in this comp!

srini701 collected his first wooden spoon last week and another one this week makes it back-to-back spoons .. ozzz2002 also picked 3/12 and added another wooden spoon to his growing collection, with his 3rd in 4 weeks (he has more spoons than anyone else). He did it with style -- two of his three correct picks were solo picks!

Cardiff City were playing their 11th home game for the season with a 10-0-0 record, and lost to the team running last! Would you believe two players had the hide to pick an away win (the rest of us picked a home win) .. dg_dave and ozzz2002 could've gone for an upset by picking a draw, but no, they went all out for the big one. These two players have more bonus picks than anyone else which, after that effort, is no surprise!

KrivoyRog climbs up into 5th place, a new high for the season, ditto illinman14 who moved up to 12th spot. N-Bomb dropped to 11th, a new low. We still have three players without a weekly win: wwe84, paper_aero & illiniman14; and two without a spoon: gtho4 & PaulE.

Another truckload of upsets this round (only 1 of the 11 games had correct picks in double figures) saw trev1 collect this week's wooden spoon with 0/11. Dizart extends his lead out front to 7 pts, which is the biggest margin all season. PaulE and gtho4 stay on the podium but swap positions.

George95 moves up into equal 4th place, which is his highest position all season. Last week srini701 set a new low for the season; this week he fell down the table again and established yet another new low .. trev1 also set a new low for the season.

dg_dave collects the other wooden spoon to move one ahead of ozzz2002 and into the lead with seven for the season. He also has more bonus picks than anyone else and, conicidentally, ozzz2002 is running second in this race as well.

Three players scored a weekly win with picks of 8/12. For illiniman14 it's his first weekly win, leaving wwe84 and paper_aero as the only players still looking for their first win.

Between us we averaged 50.9%, which is our best strike rate for the season.

ozzz2002 collects the wooden spoon, and joins dg_dave with seven each. They're miles in front of any else in the wooden spoon stakes .. next best is 4 spoons. They're also miles in front in scoring bonus picks .. they're the only players in the 20s.

On the other hand, both of them have heaps of weekly wins as well .. only Dizart, the FLC comp's leader, and Howie72 have more weekly wins than either dg_dave or ozzz2002!

No change out front .. the first four all scored 7/12. PaulE is still spoon-less.

Dizart scores his 6th weekly win for the season (more than anyone else) to extend his lead into double digits. He's now 11 points in front of second place, the biggest margin all season. From there it's 8 points back to the peleton, where a mere 6 pts separates 9 players.

ozzz2002 collected his 8th wooden spoon (more than anyone else) to drift back to just one point in front of wwe84 who's bringing up the rear ..the two tail-enders are now 8 pts behind third last.

dg_dave scores yet another bonus pick to make it 31 for this season .. eight of us are still in single digits.

paper_aero & wwe84 are still looking for their first weekly win. PaulE extends his spoon-less streak to 36 weeks (his last wooden spoon was in week 39 of last year's comp).

Dizart scores back-to-back weekly wins to make it seven for the season (more than anyone else) .. and he again extends his lead out front. It's now 12 pts, the biggest margin all season.

trev1 is the other weekly winner, his second for the season. His first was way back in week 5.

PaulE collected his first wooden spoon for the season, to bring to an end his spoon-less streak of 36 weeks (his last spoon was in week 39 of last year's comp). That plugs the last gap in that column .. paper_aero and wwe84 are still looking for their first weekly win.

The other spoon went to illiniman14 .. that's two spoons over the last three weeks.

ozzz2002 drifts further back and is now just one pt in front of wwe84 .. back in week 24 the two tail-enders were separated by 7 pts.

That's 31 down and 15 weeks to go .. we're now 2/3rds of the way through the season! A few more weeks and we'll be near the home straight.

There was no change in the first four spots, or the last seven spots. Dizart still leads, his margin over send is down a little but is still a very healthy 9½ pts .. the margin back to 3rd is a humungous 16½ pts.

The scheduling of FLC rounds on the same weekends as the FA Cup continues to create havoc .. we now have two split rounds running in the background!

Two players are still looking for their first weekly win .. wwe84 is bringing up the rear but paper_aero is a just 6½ points off a podium finish.

Back in week 24 the two tail-enders were separated by 7 pts. Last week ozzz2002 was just one point in front of wwe84. This week he picked 5/12 (two were bonus picks) picks to put 4 pts between himself and the tail-ender.
