Lots of longshots in the placings for the 2012 Cup. The winner, Green Moon, started at 20/1, runnerup, Fiorente was at 30/1 and third-placed Jakkalberry was a rank outsider, at 80/1. Kellini was 20/1 and the only one in single figures was Mount Athos, third favourite, at 7/1. The two most favoured horses, previous winners, Americain and Dunaden, finished well off the pace.

We have 17 starters in our comp, and we only managed 35 scoring tips; a strike rate of 20%- not good.

George95 was one of six who backed the winner, and takes this year's prizemoney. He was a nose ahead of doomed with another short margin back to wwe84.

Also, a big welcome to the new bloke, trangie, and hope you enjoyed yourself.
