- The Indian skipper Dhoni asked for a "turning wicket" and got his wish and his team promptly capitulated to the two England spinners Panesar and Swann
The series is tied 1-1 and with 2 matches to go, is worth watching now Unfortunately not one of us here picked Monty Panesar who took 11 wickets in the match (that's 220 points!)....
- The other Test saw a debutant Du Plessis hold up the Australians' bid for a win even as Michael Clarke continued his absolutely brilliant summer...result: that series is still tied 0-0 with all to play for at Perth....Again, even more unfortunately, not one of us here had Du Plessis in our side and though 8 of us picked Clarke, none of us had him as our trump!!!

- This meant we are all still pretty bunched up after 4 rounds...the top 3 retained their positions after round 3, and so did the last 3...but there was some movement in the middle of the table
- doomed picked up his first HoF for the season with a fine set of picks (he would proably have scored more if he didn't have Sehwag as his trump). But both gtho4 and illiniman14 ran him pretty close this round...
- LeoDaVinci did not lodge tips for the round but had teams for the previous 2 rounds, which scored for him this round. Imran Tahir, who replaced Vernon Philander scored for Leo this round. Leo's trump of Kevin Pietersen couldn't stop Leo from picking his first spoon for the season.

- South Africa showed why they are the best Test side in the world with a clinical demolition of Australia in the final Test. They won by a whopping 309 runs with a day to spare, and the guard of honor they gave to poor Ponting in his final international innings was the only thing Ricky Ponting will want to remember of his final Test.....what a player! easily among the best batsmen of this or any generation and a most terrific competitor!
- srini701 succesfully "jinxed" the Aussie skipper Michael Clarke, but seven of us still picked him as our trump...But Howie72 dared to be different and picked De Villiers as his trump this round. The move paid off most handsomely and Howie picks his first HoF this season and also moves past Sypher in the standings.
- At the other end illiniman14 landed an unwanted second spoon as all his players (all in form over the first 2 Tests) fared badly...
- There is little to separate the first 6 players here, but there seems to be a gap building after that...are we beginning to break away into 2 groups? Still feel it is a bit early to write this....
The next round will see the India-England 3rd Test from Wednesday Dec 5. If you haven't lodged your tips yet, don't worry, your last team from that series will still score for you.... | *********************** Round 5 scoring

I still say how can anyone score over 200 times?
If cricket is so similar to baseball, it can't be possible to score that many times. The highest score I've seen in a baseball game is 30 runs! (it was by the Texas Rangers too)

(it was by the Texas Rangers too) Hmmmmm...you should try and see a cricket for at least a few minutes if possible...maybe on youtube? Test cricket: 5 days of 90 overs each (that's 540 balls/deliveries per day)...you can score in cricket in 1s, 2s 3s, 4s or 6s...unlike baseball where one hit over the park is a homerun (and a score of 1 or max of 4 if the bases are full), here you have a max of 6. In cricket an innings last till 10 people are out, not 3...still confusing? try and catch some action on espncricinfo if there's a match streaming or on youtube

Test cricket: 5 days of 90 overs each You lost me right there...what is an over? The only "over" I know is the preposition (over a bridge, over a barrel, etc.) Do they throw the ball over 90 times? The only thing that makes sense is that you get 3.333333... times the outs. But still, 200/300/400 runs in two innings?

I could see a major league pitcher throw 540 pitches...yeah right! Guess it's just too confusing for this Yank!

Another major difference is the scoring area. In baseball, the only balls that score are in an arc between 1st and 3rd base, about 90 degrees. Anything outside that area does not count. In cricket, there are NO 'off-limit' areas, so if a ball is hit over the wicketkeeper's (aka catcher), it is still live. Most cricket grounds in the world would be at least three times the area of a baseball field, which makes scoring a bit easier.
Also, a run in baseball involves running 90*4= 360 ft; a run in cricket is the length of the pitch- 66ft. As Srini touched on, if a batsman hits the fence, it counts as 4 runs, and over the fence is 6.

I could see a major league pitcher throw 540 pitches...yeah right! Guess it's just too confusing for this Yank! mate, have a read of this: This short explanation will help you understand the gentleman's game. Although it may be difficult to take seriously a game which includes jargon like "silly mid off" (a fielding position) and "out for a duck" (bowled out on the first ball), cricket is in fact, a sport with a massive International following.
This may be surprising as the game has a reputation for being fiendishly complicated, but as the following humorous exposition, "cricket as explained to a foreigner," shows, cricket is actually simplicity itself.
"You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he is out. When they are all out, the side that's been out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out.
"When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out, he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who are all out all the time, and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have been out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game."
I hope this will help you understand cricket.Cricket rules not that all confusing!

Yep...thanks George ...Dave will NEVER try to understand the game now Ozzz got it right about the runs and the field, Dave...maybe that will help you understand why there are so many "runs" in cricket yes, illiniman, stick to 20-20...fun to watch, all slam-bang, but it's still cricket all right and you will at least know how the game is played

And they do not use the same bowler (pitcher). Out of the eleven players on a team, there would be 4 or 5 specialist bowlers, and maybe a couple more that can bowl if required. There are two main types of bowlers- fast bowlers, and spin bowlers. One will try to get the batsman out with pace (up to around 160kph) and the other will try to fool the bat with movement and spin. A bowler is only allowed one over (6 balls) in succession and another bowler has a turn. Two good fast bowlers operating together can break a batting team apart (google 'Lillee and Thompson'!). The absolute maximum number of overs by a single bowler would be 45, but it is rather uncommon for a captain to use the same one all day. A spinner may do 30 overs (180 balls) or so in a day, but a quick would usually do less. Confusticated yet?

Some of it makes a little more sense, like the runs scored. Sounds like the field is around 900-1200' instead of the baseball sized 325-400'. The fast bowlers throw about the speed of Verlander in the 8th and 9th inning (~100mph).

- India got walloped by England in the 3rd Test and have lost back to back home Tests for only the 3rd time in the last 10 years
The team is just not good enough with the bat, or the ball or in the field, and the tragedy is, we don't even have replacements who can step up
- N-Bomb had a massive round there and jumped into second spot, a season high for him...Sypher also had a good round there and moved up
- srini701's new "formula" exploded in his face, leaving him with a red face and his first spoon for the season, as he drops 3 places on the ladder
- underscored will drop off the scoreboard if they fail to lodge tips for the next round...will it be ozzz2002, doomed or wwe84 in the cellar at the end or round 7? As interesting a battle at the bottom of the table as at the top!
The next round is again a double-header, so plentttyyy of points to win or lose....a new Test series begins, so if you don't lodge a team, remember will only score a 0 for that Test (coz you will still have a default India-England team scoring in one Test).
So get in there well before Thursday and please lodge your teams if you haven't done so already... | *********************** Round 6 scoring | Player | Runs (x1) | Wkt (x20) | Cat (x5) | Pts | | BxB | doom | gtho | how | illini | leo | n-bom | ozz | paper | srini | syph | under | wwe | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | G Gambhir | 100 | 0 | 0 | 100 | | | 100 | | 100 | | | | | | | 100 | | | | V Sehwag | 72 | 0 | 3 | 87 | | 174 | | | | | | | 174 | | | | | 87 | | CA Pujara | 24 | 0 | 0 | 24 | | 24 | 24 | 24 | 48 | 24 | | | | 24 | 48 | 24 | | 48 | | SR Tendulkar | 81 | 0 | 0 | 81 | | | | | | | 81 | | | | 81 | | | | | V Kohli | 26 | 0 | 0 | 26 | | | | | | | | 26 | | | 26 | | | | | Yuvraj Singh | 43 | 0 | 0 | 43 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | MS Dhoni | 52 | 0 | 5 | 77 | | | | | | | | | 77 | | | | | | | R Ashwin | 112 | 5 | 0 | 212 | | | | | | | | 424 | | 212 | | | | | | Zaheer Khan | 6 | 1 | 0 | 26 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Ishant Sharma | 10 | 1 | 0 | 30 | | | | | | | | | 30 | | | | | | | P Ojha | 3 | 5 | 0 | 103 | | 103 | | 103 | 103 | 103 | 103 | | | 206 | | 103 | | 103 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | A Cook | 191 | 0 | 2 | 201 | | 201 | | 201 | 201 | 402 | 201 | 201 | 201 | 201 | | 402 | | | | NRD Compton | 66 | 0 | 0 | 66 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | J Trott | 90 | 0 | 2 | 100 | | | | | | | | 100 | | | | | | | | KP Pietersen | 54 | 0 | 0 | 54 | | | 108 | 108 | | 54 | 108 | | | | | | | 54 | | IR Bell | 33 | 0 | 0 | 33 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | SR Patel | 33 | 0 | 0 | 33 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Matt Prior | 41 | 0 | 3 | 56 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | G Swann | 21 | 3 | 2 | 91 | | | 91 | | 91 | 91 | | 91 | | | 91 | 91 | | | | S Finn | 4 | 4 | 0 | 84 | | | | | | | | | 84 | | | | | | | J Anderson | 9 | 6 | 0 | 129 | | 129 | | | | | 129 | | | | | | | | | Monty Panesar | 0 | 5 | 0 | 100 | | | 100 | 100 | | | | | | 100 | 100 | | | 100 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Trump Score (x2) | | | 87 | 54 | 54 | 24 | 201 | 54 | 212 | 87 | 103 | 24 | 201 | xxx | 24 | | | | Total Score | | | | 631 | 423 | 536 | 543 | 674 | 622 | 842 | 566 | 743 | 346 | 720 | d346 | 392

- I was in mourning since Monday, hence did not post the results immediately
....India lost a Home Test series for the first time in more than 8 years, it's clear Dhoni's shelf-life as India's captain is over and yet, we cannot do anything about it, all my picks bombed badly and the trumps I choose are either failing miserably or worse still, walking away injured
- India were outplayed on all fronts - batting, bowling, fielding, captaincy and thoroughly deserved to be beaten by a very professional and competitive England side...I can foresee a defeat against Australia too in February at this rate
- Australia meanwhile won their first Test for the season but are down a fast bowler (srini managed to jinx and put Hilfenhaus out of the whole series jus by picking him as his trump!). Australia will possibly be without Michael Clarke too for the Boxing Day Test
- 5 people managed scores of over a 1000 points here and we have a new leader...N-Bomb becomes the third player on top of the leaderboard as paper_aero slips badly...
- BxBarracuda picks up his second HoF for the season with a very well-crafted team and he also moves back into second spot...whatever made LeoDaVinci pick Trott as his trump worked, as Leo also made a huge splash this round.
- Ozzz2002 managed to have 3 players this round who did not score him a single point, including a trump player!!! and he still beat srini701 by a handsome margin

The next round is the Boxing Day Test from December 26 and if you don't want to change your team, you will still score some points from the previous team...but remember, Australia is likely to have some changes to their side... <<Edited to update score of Ozzz, as I had Ian Bell's total wrong...Can't change scoring table below as it is a huge task >> | *********************** Round 7 scoring | Player | Runs (x1) | Wkt (x20) | Cat (x5) | Pts | | BxB | doom | gtho | how | illini | leo | n-bom | ozz | paper | srini | syph | wwe | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | G Gambhir | 37 | 0 | 0 | 37 | | | 37 | | 74 | 37 | | | | | | | 37 | | V Sehwag | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | | | | | | | | 0 | | 0 | 0 | | | CA Pujara | 26 | 0 | 1 | 31 | | | | | | | 31 | | | 31 | | | | | SR Tendulkar | 2 | 0 | 0 | 2 | | | | 2 | | | | | | | | | | | V Kohli | 103 | 0 | 2 | 113 | | 113 | | | | | | 113 | | | | | | | R Jadeja | 12 | 3 | 0 | 72 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | MS Dhoni | 99 | 0 | 2 | 109 | | | | | 109 | | | | 109 | | | | | | R Ashwin | 29 | 3 | 0 | 89 | | 178 | | | | | | 178 | | | | 89 | 89 | | Piyush Chawla | 1 | 4 | 1 | 86 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Ishant Sharma | 2 | 3 | 0 | 62 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | P Ojha | 3 | 1 | 1 | 28 | | 28 | 28 | 28 | 28 | 28 | 28 | | 28 | 28 | 28 | | 56 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | A Cook | 14 | 0 | 0 | 14 | | | 14 | 28 | 14 | 28 | | 14 | | 28 | 28 | 28 | 14 | | NRD Compton | 37 | 0 | 0 | 37 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | J Trott | 187 | 0 | 0 | 187 | | 187 | | 187 | | | 374 | 187 | | | | 187 | | | KP Pietersen | 79 | 0 | 0 | 79 | | | 158 | | | 79 | | | | 79 | 79 | | | | IR Bell | 117 | 0 | 1 | 112 | | | | | | | | | 112 | | | | | | Joe Root | 93 | 0 | 0 | 93 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Matt Prior | 57 | 0 | 1 | 62 | | | | | | | 62 | | | | | | | | G Swann | 56 | 3 | 0 | 116 | | | | | 116 | 116 | 116 | 116 | | | | 116 | | | T Bresnan | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | J Anderson | 4 | 4 | 0 | 84 | | 84 | | | | | | | | | | | | | Monty Panesar | 1 | 1 | 0 | 21 | | | 21 | 21 | | | | | | 21 | 21 | | 21 | | Stuart Broad | DNP | DNP | DNP | 0 | | | | | | | | | 0 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | DA Warner | 125 | 0 | 0 | 125 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | EJM Cowan | 60 | 0 | 0 | 60 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | PJ Hughes | 102 | 0 | 0 | 102 | | | | 102 | | | | | | | | | | | SR Watson | 35 | 2 | 0 | 75 | | | | | 150 | | | 150 | | 75 | | 75 | | | MJ Clarke | 131 | 0 | 1 | 136 | | 272 | 272 | 272 | 136 | 272 | 136 | 136 | 136 | 272 | 136 | 272 | 136 | | MEK Hussey | 146 | 0 | 3 | 161 | | | 161 | | | 161 | | | 322 | | | | | | MS Wade | 79 | 0 | 6 | 109 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | PM Siddle | 4 | 9 | 0 | 184 | | | | | | | 184 | | | 184 | | | 184 | | MA Starc | 5 | 6 | 0 | 125 | | 125 | 125 | 125 | 125 | 125 | | 125 | 125 | | 125 | | 250 | | NM Lyon | 11 | 2 | 0 | 51 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | B Hilfenhaus | 0 | 1 | 0 | 20 | | | | | | | | | | | 40 | 20 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | FDM Karunaratne | 44 | 0 | 0 | 44 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | TM Dilshan | 158 | 0 | 0 | 158 | | 158 | | | | | | | 158 | | | | 158 | | KC Sangakkara | 67 | 0 | 1 | 72 | | 72 | | | | | 72 | 72 | | | 72 | | | | DPMD Jayawardene | 31 | 0 | 1 | 36 | | | 36 | | 36 | | | | | 36 | 36 | 36 | | | TT Samaraweera | 56 | 0 | 0 | 56 | | | | | | | 112 | | | | | | | | AD Mathews | 94 | 0 | 0 | 94 | | | | 94 | | 94 | | | | | | | | | HAPW Jayawardene | 61 | 0 | 3 | 76 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | KMDN Kulasekara | 32 | 0 | 1 | 37 | | 37 | | | 37 | | | | | | | | | | HMRKB Herath | 8 | 5 | 0 | 108 | | | 108 | 108 | | 108 | 108 | 108 | | 108 | | 108 | 108 | | RMS Eranga | 11 | 2 | 1 | 56 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | UWMBCA Welegedara | 0 | 6 | 0 | 120 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Suraj Randiv | DNP | DNP | DNP | 0 | | | | | | | | | 0 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Trump Score (x2) | | | 89, 136 | 79, 136 | 14, 136 | 37, 75 | 14, 136 | 187, 56 | 89, 75 | 0, 161 | 14, 136 | 14, 20 | 14, 136 | 28, 125 | | | | Total Score | | | | 1254 | 960 | 967 | 825 | 1048 | 1223 | 1199 | 990 | 862 | 565 | 931 | 1053

- Australia duly crushed a hapless Sri Lankan team in less than three days to go 2-0 up in the 3 match series. But their team selections continue to puzzle everybody...
- An injured Michael Clarke was given time till the last minute to prove his fitness and he led the side (with yet another century in the match)...but Mitchell Starc, who took 6 and 5 wickets in his 2 previous Tests, was replaced by Mitchell Johnson....
- That direct replacement helped 6 of us here as Mitchell Johnson had a very good Test...Kulasekara in the Lankan side was replaced by Dhammika Prasad, which also helped one of us.
- Taking his first HoF for the season with Johnson helping him out is illiniman14, while BxBarracuda takes home his first spoon for the season.
The India-Australia fixtures have been announced and the dates match exactly with a couple of other series, so we will close this season as planned at end of March (18 rounds in all)...plenty of rounds with double-header Tests now, so lots of movement can still be expected over the next few rounds...
The next round is a double-header and starts January 2 with a new series, so please do remember to lodge your tips in time.
Wishing you all a very happy, peaceful and healthy New Year and looking forward to lots and lots of exciting and friendly competition in 2013... | *********************** Round 8 scoring | Player | Runs (x1) | Wkt (x20) | Cat (x5) | Pts | | BxB | doom | gtho | how | illini | leo | n-bom | ozz | paper | srini | syph | wwe | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | DA Warner | 62 | 0 | 1 | 67 | | | | | | | | | | | 67 | | | | EJM Cowan | 36 | 0 | 3 | 51 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | PJ Hughes | 10 | 0 | 2 | 20 | | | | 20 | | | | | | | | | | | SR Watson | 83 | 0 | 0 | 83 | | 83 | | | 166 | | | | 166 | 83 | 166 | 83 | | | MJ Clarke | 106 | 0 | 0 | 106 | | | 212 | 212 | | 212 | 106 | 106 | | 212 | | 212 | | | MEK Hussey | 34 | 0 | 2 | 44 | | | 44 | | 44 | 44 | | 88 | 44 | | | | 44 | | MS Wade | 1 | 0 | 4 | 21 | | 21 | | | | | | | | | | | | | PM Siddle | 13 | 3 | 0 | 73 | | 73 | | | | | 73 | 73 | 73 | 73 | | 73 | | | MG Johnson | 92 | 6 | 0 | 212 | | | 212 | 212 | 212 | 212 | | | | | 212 | | 212 | | NM Lyon | 1 | 3 | 0 | 61 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | JM Bird | 0 | 4 | 0 | 80 | | | | | | | | | | | | | 160 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | FDM Karunaratne | 6 | 0 | 0 | 6 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | TM Dilshan | 11 | 1 | 0 | 31 | | 62 | | | | | | | | | | | 31 | | KC Sangakkara | 85 | 0 | 0 | 85 | | | | | 85 | | 85 | 85 | | | 85 | | | | DPMD Jayawardene | 3 | 0 | 3 | 18 | | | 18 | | | | | | | 18 | | 18 | | | TT Samaraweera | 11 | 0 | 1 | 16 | | | | | | | 32 | | | | | | | | AD Mathews | 50 | 2 | 0 | 90 | | | | 90 | | 90 | | | 90 | | | | | | HAPW Jayawardene | 24 | 0 | 0 | 24 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | KTGD Prasad | 17 | 3 | 1 | 82 | | | | | | | | | 82 | | | | | | HMRKB Herath | 25 | 0 | 1 | 30 | | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 | | 30 | | 30 | | | RMS Eranga | 4 | 3 | 1 | 69 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | UWMBCA Welegedara | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | | | | | | | | | | 0 | | 69 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Trump Score (x2) | | | 31 | 106 | 106 | 83 | 106 | 16 | 44 | 83 | 106 | 83 | 106 | 80 | | | | Total Score | | | | 269 | 516 | 564 | 537 | 588 | 326 | 382 | 455 | 416 | 530 | 416 | 516

- There was plenty of drama on the field all right in the first round of the New Year. New Zealand embarrassed themselves and lost the Test in less than 100 minutes on the first day. Sri Lanka put up some fight but couldn't stop Mike Hussey from bowing out of international cricket with a final win for his team.
- There was as much drama here in our ranks. illiniman14 picked Taylor (??) in his squad. I presume he meant Ross Taylor, who wasn't even in the squad. Instead of a zero, I allowed the least score in the Kiwis side for him (which unfortunately was 1 by Guptill
)
- Then, ozzz2002 managed to pick Nuwan Kulasekara in his side. Kulasekara was in the squad, he hadn't played the second Test, so did not have a direct replacement, meaning ozzz get a zero for this player.
- Sypher and Doomed both failed to lodge teams for the South Africa Test. Both were scored the default score of 209, which was the wooden spoon score for that Test (by wwe84). Sypher got in time for the Australia Test and lodged an exact side as doomed's default side from the previous round, which meant both finished the round with a very decent score at the end...
- But taking the cake this round is N-Bomb....He managed to have both Sangakkara and Shane Watson in his side....both were out, but at least Sanga had a direct replacement in the 3rd Test (Thirimanne)...N-Bomb probaby shot himself in the foot by picking Shane Watson as his trump (and he posted his team AFTER I edited the squads
)....Watson had no direct replacement in the team, meaning n-bomb allowed paper_aero to slip back into the driver's seat at the end of the round.
The next round is again a real big one, covering 10 ODIs in all...unfortunately, India and Australia named their teams for only the first half of the matches, while we pick our teams here for the entire round (no replacements scoring this round)...so try and pick your teams carefully and please do so BEFORE end of January 10. | *********************** Round 9 scoring | Player | Runs (x1) | Wkt (x20) | Cat (x5) | Pts | | BxB | doom | gtho | how | illini | leo | n-bom | ozz | paper | srini | syph | wwe | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | MJ Guptill | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1 | | | | | | 1 | | | | 1 | | | 1 | | BB McCullum | 58 | 0 | 0 | 58 | | 58 | | | 58 | | 58 | | 58 | | | | | | KS Williamson | 28 | 0 | 1 | 33 | | | | 33 | | | | 33 | | | | | | | DG Brownlie | 109 | 0 | 0 | 109 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | DR Flynn | 22 | 0 | 0 | 22 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | BJ Watling | 42 | 0 | 2 | 52 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | JEC Franklin | 23 | 1 | 0 | 43 | | | | | | | | | | | 43 | | | | DAJ Bracewell | 2 | 1 | 0 | 22 | | 22 | | | | | 22 | | 22 | | | | 22 | | JS Patel | 13 | 0 | 0 | 13 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | TA Boult | 3 | 3 | 0 | 63 | | | | 63 | 63 | 63 | | 63 | | 63 | | | | | CS Martin | 0 | 3 | 0 | 60 | | | | | | | | | | | 60 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | GC Smith | 1 | 0 | 3 | 16 | | | | | | 16 | | | | | | | | | AN Petersen | 106 | 0 | 2 | 116 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | HM Amla | 66 | 0 | 2 | 76 | | 76 | | 76 | | 152 | | 76 | 152 | 152 | 76 | | 76 | | JH Kallis | 60 | 2 | 0 | 100 | | 200 | | | 200 | | 100 | 200 | | 100 | | | | | AB De Villiers | 67 | 0 | 4 | 87 | | | | 174 | 87 | | 174 | | | | | | | | F Du Plessis | 15 | 0 | 0 | 15 | | | | | | | | | 15 | | 15 | | 30 | | D Elgar | 21 | 0 | 0 | 21 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | RJ Peterson | 5 | 1 | 1 | 30 | | 30 | | | | | | | | | | | | | VD Philander | 0 | 7 | 0 | 140 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | DW Steyn | 0 | 5 | 1 | 105 | | | | 105 | | 105 | 105 | 105 | | 105 | 210 | | | | M Morkel | 0 | 4 | 0 | 80 | | | | | 80 | | | | 80 | | | | 80 | | | | | | | | | 209 | | | | | | | | | 209 | | | DA Warner | 85 | 0 | 1 | 90 | | | | 90 | | | | | 180 | | 90 | | 90 | | EJM Cowan | 40 | 0 | 0 | 40 | | | | | | | | | 40 | | | | | | PJ Hughes | 121 | 0 | 1 | 126 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | MJ Clarke | 79 | 0 | 2 | 89 | | 89 | 178 | 178 | 89 | 178 | 178 | | | 178 | | 178 | | | MEK Hussey | 52 | 0 | 4 | 72 | | 72 | 72 | | 72 | | 72 | 72 | | | 144 | 72 | 144 | | MS Wade | 111 | 0 | 4 | 131 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | MG Johnson | 14 | 3 | 0 | 74 | | 148 | 74 | 74 | 148 | 74 | | | | 74 | | 74 | 74 | | PM Siddle | 38 | 3 | 1 | 103 | | | | | | 103 | 103 | | 103 | 103 | | | | | MA Starc | 2 | 4 | 1 | 87 | | | | | | | | 87 | | | | | | | NM Lyon | 4 | 2 | 0 | 44 | | | | | | | | | | | 44 | | | | JM Bird | 6 | 7 | 1 | 151 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | S Watson | DNP | DNP | DNP | 0 | | | | | | | | 0 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | FDM Karunaratne | 90 | 0 | 1 | 95 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | TM Dilshan | 39 | 2 | 0 | 79 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | HDRL Thirimanne | 98 | 0 | 1 | 103 | | | | | | | | 103 | | | | | | | DPMD Jayawardene | 132 | 0 | 1 | 137 | | | 137 | | | | | | | 137 | | 137 | | | TT Samaraweera | 12 | 0 | 0 | 12 | | | | | | | 12 | | | | | | 12 | | AD Mathews | 31 | 0 | 0 | 31 | | 31 | | 31 | 31 | 31 | | | 31 | | 31 | | | | LD Chandimal | 86 | 0 | 3 | 101 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | KTGD Prasad | 17 | 0 | 1 | 22 | | 22 | | 22 | | 22 | | | | | | | 22 | | HMRKB Herath | 15 | 7 | 0 | 155 | | | 155 | | 155 | | 155 | 155 | | 155 | 155 | 155 | | | RAS Lakmal | 5 | 1 | 0 | 25 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | N Pradeep | 26 | 2 | 0 | 66 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Kulasekara | DNP | DNP | DNP | 0 | | | | | | | | | 0 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Trump Score (x2) | | | | | 100, 74 | 89 | 87, 89 | 100, 74 | 76, 89 | 87, 89 | 100, 0 | 76, 90 | 76, 89 | 105, 72 | 89 | 15, 72 | | | | Total Score | | | | 748 | 825 | 846 | 983 | 745 | 979 | 894 | 681 | 1068 | 868 | 825 | 551
