There will be no replacement for Clarke since I had mentioned this well in advance and had underlined his name in the original post. The only replacement this round would be for Leo's default team. He had Kevin Pietersen as a trump 2 rounds back and I am allowing Pietersen's replacement Bairstow to score for Leo, only because of the trump situation and because of the default team status. Sorry, N-Bomb... For future comps, let's have a replacement player every round (like Nascar) so even if your named player does not play, you have a standby player scoring for you... _________________________ "This too shall pass"

Well whaddyaknow? wonders never cease here in our tipping comps....a distracted Sypher named only 5 people in his team for an ODI series (maybe he thought it was another Test match!), and slipped 3 places down the ladder in one fell swoop, and at the most inopportune moment
srini701 finally got some of his picks performing for him this season, and thanks to a magnificent series for AB De Villiers, finds himself in podium position and with a possible chance to knock N-Bomb off the 2nd place too...
gtho4 returned after defaulting 2 rounds, and was rusty in his picks as can be seen by his second spoon for the season...

paper_aero put in one of the most dominating performances in the World Cricket tipping comp this season and made it a one-man show for more than half the comp. He left the rest of us fighting for the other podium places and deserved to win the comp by a country mile....well done to paper_aero for becoming the 9th different winner of this comp in 9 seasons!
N-Bomb comfortably held off srini701 and Sypher for 2nd place, and after winning the comp last year, makes it back-to-back podium finishes...one interesting side fact here: srini701 was on podium in 2010 and 2011, failed to make it a hat-trick last year. Sypher was on podium in 2011 and 2012, failed to make it a hat-trick this year. So by that token....
Sypher would probably have made it a hat-trick of podiums had he not been distracted the last two rounds. However, both he and N-Bomb have an impressive streak going...Both of them got their last spoon in the 2010-2011 season, which means they both have now gone 2 complete seasons without a spoon...Sypher (36 rounds and counting) and N-Bomb (38 rounds and counting) have something more to look forward to now in next season's comp
srini701 managed to finish third in the comp, but he was never consistent and it was only in the last couple of rounds that his picks paid off. Howie72 finished fourth, but he was always there and about the top, and may probably have made it to the podium had the last few rounds NOT featured his home team
BxBarracuda was another who was consistently at the top of the ladder for most part of the season before falling off in the last few rounds...his chance will come...as will illiniman14's...illiniman finished strongly and may surely have a say in the standings the next season...
LeoDaVinci did not win a single HoF this season but had some really good rounds in between and may well have finished higher had he not defaulted a couple of rounds...gtho4, ozzz2002 and wwe84 all had a mixed season, good one round and bad the next, and occupied the last 3 slots on the ladder.
We had underscored, Daaaniel and Doomed dropping in at various stages of the comp, so I have to make an honorable mention of them...it is always nice to have more numbers, but just wish people hang around till the comp is over

Let's not talk of the last 2 matches and anger ozzz further (for keeping faith in Sachin Tendulkar one last time)...Sachin might still be there when India goes to South Africa towards the year end...and let gtho4 have the last word in this season's comp, befitting his team's showing in India..."What do you call an Aussie legend? .... Retired."
