It is with much regret that we have to tell you that Tezza has very sadly died.

Tezza not only posted here in the forums but has quite a lot of quizzes online and contributed to the Chat Boards.

She will be sadly missed by us all.

RIP

This is such very sad news. Tezza gave an awful lot to FT in her unassuming way. Her posts made her seem gentle and caring, and I wish I had met her. She posted regularly in Bookworms and was often in the Lounge, especially if anyone needed help and support.
She made me laugh too. In a thread about romantic and not so romantic meetings, this is how she met her partner!:
My current partner I met at an abattoir where I was in charge of Occupational Safety and Health, and he was a butcher !
Tezza you are sadly missed.

That is very sad news indeed.

Back in 2010 (here on the Forums) Tezza supported my 'lobby' to have the Irish flag avatar available for Irish players' profiles (the happy result of which was Terry giving almost everyone their own country flag - prior to that I think it was just the USA, Canada, Britain and Australia).

In turn I supported her preference for native Australians to be able to choose the Aboriginal flag for their profile page ... although sadly that wasn't possible.

Goodbye Tezza, you'll be missed.

Thank you for letting us know, Sue. I'm sure we would have otherwise have wondered why she no longer posted. I'm sorry to hear of her death and if you are in contact with her family, please convey my condolences. She will be missed.

Oh dear, that is terrible news. She was such a funny, kind and gracious presence here. I always enjoyed seeing her name on a forums post or in my mailbox. My condolences to her friends and family, if they stop by here or if our messages can be passed along.

We have posted a message from her team on her facebook page. We could post individual messages from anyone who isn't on faceboook.

What a shame. I had the pleasure of working with Tezza on quizzes for the Author's Lounge; her presence on the site will definitely be missed. frown

Tezza's Facebook page has maximum security - you can't see much at all on her wall unless she's allowed you access in the past. You can't view any comments, messages etc.

This is very sad news. I didn't know she was sick and sincerely hope she didn't suffer. Sighs and hugs for those close to her.

Very sad to hear, she was fascinated in the supernatural and one of the small group of people who picked up my interest and went on to have conversations on it offsite. She will be greatly missed here.

They'll also be able to read her blog, and see what a stunning writer she was - if they didn't already know that!

My condolences to her family and friends. To people who don't know how someone can have a great presence here and elsewhere on the internet it sometimes comes as a surprise but I'm sure a pleasant one.

That's sad indeed. Tezza helped me out with writing a few quizzes and she seemed a lovely lady. I was hoping to be able to meet her someday as she lives only a few hours from where I do. Sadly that will now never happen frown
