I'd just gotten out of the tub and was collecting my clothes for the day when the fire alarm began blaring. **Not another [word deleted] fire *alarm, I thought, then pulled a robe off the rack and slid my feet into sneakers.

Shortly after getting to the door, the alarm was shut off. A call downstairs told me that **it was just a test*.
