I'm not here to alert you! ...but it IS just on the news.

My question is....What does this do to the general US population, anyway?

Do you become more wary? Does it just panic you, or make you feel fearful and helpless?

It is a good thing, I think. The gov't certainly could NOT not tell the citizenry. But whenever this has happened before, over the last few months, I wonder............

...because even I feel a heightened sense of "something"...and I'm in frozen very northern Canada.

Input welcome....
For peace......everywhere!

I think that as time has gone by since 9/11, that people have stopped paying as much attention to the "terrorist watches" as they did at first. I didn't even know that there was one. I did hear some politician on the TV talking about how there are still threats and how we have to watch out because their sources say that the U.S.A is still in danger.

I think that in some ways it's a lot like crying wolf. But it's not that harmful because what are citizens going to do about it anyway, if the government won't give more info about possible threats. What am I supposed to do during a terrorist watch, stay home from school and hide in the basement? It's fine for the police and military, because they recive more information from the government and there are things that they can do to lessen the chances of an attack.
