At least they have downgraded the temp on Christmas day from 41C to 38C. Still enough to warrant a slippery slide in Mum's backyard for us all (yes, yes, slippery slides are not just for kids! )

After watching Ghost many times, it occurred to me that Patrick Swayze wore the same clothes over and over again once he was a ghost. Does that mean that whatever you're wearing when you go is what you wear when you're a ghost? Hmmmm.. well as I head off to work's Xmas party in about half an hour, if the world does end tonight at least I'll be in a posh frock with my hair done and my favourite jewels on. I hate my shoes though. They're so uncomfortable I'd hate to be stuck wearing them for eternity!
