Just out of curiosity, when the paramedics arrived, what did they say? Or, rather, how long did it take them to regain control of their laughter before attempting to get you unstuck?!

Did it leave a lasting effect? Like, was it numb for a while or swollen or anything?

Couldn't you have just had your daughter pour a bit of warm water over it and unstick it? Curious minds want to know these answers to these, and other, questions about you, Sandalwood!

From over the pond....

Linda the paramedics got a charge out of it. I however did not. It was summer time and I had on a real short skirt..and I was standing on a chair of course.

My daughter and I both freaked and she could not understand anything I was saying so she did the correct thing.

My tongue felt scalded like when you drink coffee that is to hot. Only for a bout a day though.

I never did receive a bill in the mail for their services...

Sue, If I were to share even half of my memories with all of you...You would commit me. Thank God that my family loves me so much!

Getting your tongue stuck in the freezer? Come back to me in about half an hour, that's when I'll be done laughing! . But Sandalwood, I guess I should say thank you aswell. I've always wondered myself if it sticks, but after reading your story, I don't have to try it out myself, heehee. .

LOL Sunshine..that is why I share some of my experiences..So no one has to repeat them..unless they chose to experience them themselves.

I still talk on the phone in the tub..but I am much more careful about it today!!

I've got a friend that can beat the dropping the phone in the bath thing - she was supervising a school swim, and accidentally dropped her mobile phone in the school swimming pool.

They fished it out and managed to get it working again, so she sat back down with it on her lap.

The swim finished and she stood up to go - the phone slid straight off her lap, right back into the swimming pool again. This time it died for good!

She's a text message addict, so she's been in withdrawal not having her phone working - poor thing.

This thread always cracks me up, I mean sticking your tongue in the freezer, phones in the bath, I love the mental pictures you can conjure up - really wonderful .
