  • To remove a stain from the bottom of a glass vase or cruet, fill with water and drop in two Alka-Seltzer tablets!

  • To unclog a drain or clear the sink drain by dropping three Alka-Seltzer tablets down the drain followed by a cup of Heinz White Vinegar. Wait a few minutes, then run the hot water.

  • To Clean a microwave oven sprinkle Arm & Hammer Baking Soda on a damp sponge,scrub, and rinse.

  • To Deodorize a dishwasher sprinkle one-half cup Arm & Hammer Baking Soda on thebottom of the dishwasher between loads.

  • To Clean coffee and teapots wash in a solution of one-quarter cup Arm & HammerBaking Soda and one quart warm water, then rinse clean.

  • To Repel mosquitoes tie a sheet of Bounce through a belt loop when outdoors during mosquito season.

  • To Prevent thread from tangling run a threaded needle through a sheetof Bounce to eliminate the static cling on the thread before sewing.

  • To Make fluffy pancakes, waffles, and matzah balls substitute Canada Dry Club Soda for the liquid used in the recipes.

  • To Remove wine spills or other spots from carpet apply Canada Dry Club Soda to the stain, rub it in, wait a few minutes, and sponge it off.

  • To Loosen rusty nuts and bolts pour Canada Dry Club Soda over them. The carbonation bubbles away rust.

  • To Change blond hair dyed green by chlorine back to its original color simply rinse your green hair with Canada Dry Club Soda.

  • To Preserve newspaper clippings dissolve one Milk of Magnesia tablet in one quart Canada Dry Club Soda. Let the mixture stand overnight. The next day, stir the mixture well, then soak your clipping in the solution for one hour. Blot the newspaper clipping between two sheets of Bounty and place on a screen to dry.

  • To Remove grease from clothes empty a can of Coke into a load of greasy work clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular wash cycle. TheCoca-Cola will help loosen grease stains, according to Mary Ellen.

  • To Clean corrosion from car battery terminals pour a can of carbonated Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion, according to Heloise.

  • To Repair scratched woodwork mix a teaspoon instant Maxwell House coffee with two teaspoons water. Apply to the scratch with a cotton ball.

  • To Spread grass seed or fertilizer punch holes in the bottom of an emptycan of Maxwell House Coffee, fill with grass seed or fertilizer, coverwith the plastic lid, and shake the can as you walk through your garden.

  • To Remove a ring stuck on a finger smear on some Miracle Whip and slide the ring off.

  • To Remove chewing gum from hair rub a dollop of Miracle Whip into the chewing gum.

  • To Clean windows and mirrors Mr. Coffee Filters are lint-free so they'll leave your windows sparkling.

  • To Prevent a Popsicle from dripping poke one or two holes as needed in a Mr. Coffee Filter, insert the popsicle, and let the filter catch the drips.

  • To Soothe the burn on the roof of your mouth from hot pizza fill your mouth with Reddi-wip to coat the lesion.

Well TJ, I am impressed!! Your wife must love having you aroung the house. Those were excellant tips, and of course you probably guessed that I would like the Reddi-wip tip the best.

No harm no foul! She has sort of a sense of humor!

PS to others: Wife was looking over my shoulder during chat and Auschic started displaying some surprising terms of endearment ..... Had to sign off then!
