WANTED: QUALIFIED ARM HAIR TRIMMERSJust kidding!! Haven't you ever wondered why the hair on your arms never needs to be cut? Thank goodness we don't need to go get our arms or backs trimmed like we have to get our hair cut. And who would want that job, anyway?
The fact is arm hair has a shorter growing cycle than does head hair. Arm hair grows for a few weeks or months and then stops growing. It will then sit in the follicle for years and years before it falls out. Head hair, on the other hand, can grow for years and years. Generally, about 80 percent of the hair on your head is growing, while the rest is just sitting there getting ready to fall out.
Hair is simply skin in another form. Hair is made out of Keratin, which is the major structural protein of skin.
