clean your glasses with Windex without airing them out a bit. The fumes from the residual ammonia can cause a chemical burn to your eyes.

I hope you didn't find this out the hardway.

And, be careful if your glasses are plastic. Some chemicals that you can safely use on glass can make your plastic lenses turn permanently cloudy.

Donnar. Not with glasses. I did however discover that it's a very bad idea to soak your soft contact lenses in hard contact lens solution. It's sort of like inserting a time-release corrosive into your eyes. Emergency room trip after that one. (Didn't cry though.)

And don't clean you eyeglasses with any kind of paper products or it will scratch your lenses.
