I would think at some point many of the Canadian players put the skates on at the junior level and remembered the moves they leared there.

I feel the WBC is under hyped at this point, many of the best U.S. players not playing on the U.S. team is one reason, another other being not as much advertizing, it not being shown on the regular ESPN netowks, and March Madness the focus of the U.S. sports world at the moment have also hurt it's ratings.

I have played bar league and office league slow pitch 6-12 and unlimited arc leagues.

Haven't been in a fast pitch league, but I did used to toy around in the fast pitch batting cages once in a while.

Many quality teams played in the AL East whether you like them or not, even the Texas Rangers' franchise used to play there! And the Yanks, as much as we hate 'em, we still have to beat 'em.

I think what Howie is saying is that it's an absolute LOCK that the Astros are going to be World Champs, and that everybody should pick them to win EVERY game this season. I don't see how they could lose, so stacked......
