Last week, a score of 7/9 would have got you a spoon- this week, only one player scored more than that- illiniman14 picked up his first HoF with a nice 8/9.

Last week we had a combined score of 139/153. This week was a rather abysmal 83/153. Five out of nine games had six or less correct tipsters.

chogodad is the first player to hit the half century.

But at least St Kilda won!

illiniman14 picked back-to-back HoF and has thundered up the ladder into 14th place!

ASA did back-to-back spoons and is falling rapidly. ozfei also headed south.

We had the first draw of the season when Fremantle pegged back the Swans in the last minutes of play.

N-Bomb has been hovering just off the pace, but this week he made his move, and he is now joint leader with chogobad.

George95 also hit a high water mark by tipping 8/9. He is in equal third, only one off the lead. The other HoF went to ozzz2002 who moved away from the bottom a bit.

Here is one for the stats urus- when have we ever had 11/17 HoFs? That is almost 65%!

Erstwhile leader, chogobad was one of the few that missed, instead scoring a spoon and surrendering his lead to N-Bomb and Sypher. ASA also dropped a spot, with his spoon.

Last week, 5/6 was a spoon score- this week, illiniman14 was the sole HoF with that same number. Almost everyone scored 4/6, except for Sypher and ozzz2002, both of whose roughie tips failed.

Six out of nine games were fairly straightforward, but the remaining three saw a few movements in our table. Essendon went to Perth and pipped the locals, Port Power overcame the Collywobbles and Melbourne finally had a win. St Kilda were extremely unlucky, just losing to Richmond.

N-Bomb picked 8/9 and consolidated his lead and ozfei moved up a few spots with her HoF. ozzz2002 and ASA also scored HoFs and a fat lot of good it did either of them- they did not move at all! gtho4 picked up the cutlery this week and fell a couple of rungs.

There were scores all over the place this week, resulting in more ups and downs than in a yo-yo factory.

MikeMaster99 got a perfect score and shot up the ladder, moving from twelfth to fifth. As a consequence, lots of people got pushed down a spot or two. BxBarracuda spooned it and dropped some spots, allowing players below him to move up a bit.

One of the few to retain his spot was our leader, N-Bomb- he actually increased his lead by one.

Both the leading teams, Hawthorn and Geelong, got done, and nobody tipped either result. The Hawks were trounced by the Tigers, who have quietly snuck into seventh spot on the ladder. The Roos pipped the Cats, but will probably not make the finals.

In the battle of the cellar-dwellers, Greater Western Sydney notched up their first win of the season in style, belting Melbourne. Over in the City of Churches, Little Brother just beat Big Brother. Fremantle are making their mark with a comfortable win over the Blues, and probably knocking that side out of contention to play the money games.

Howie72 picked up his second HoF in two weeks and ASA did the same with spoons.

Just a quick write-up today. Sypher scored a spoon and everyone else didn't. chogobad, Howie72 and wwe84 scored HoFs and again, everyone else didn't.

Still an exciting race to the end of the season. N-Bomb is still in front, but only just; paper_aero is lurking. There are also two players just off the pace, who should feature in the run home.

There was only one real upset in the footy, with Carlton sneaking home against the Tigers. We tipped perfectly in four games and were only one or two off perfect in a couple more. HoFs and spoons were handed out very liberally, with a small range of only two points between the extremes.
