As most of you know, I now have three mice as pets. I was wondering if any of you have ever owned mice and if you have any tips or tricks to share. Thanks in advance.

My family has had many rodents as pets and tips I would give to another rodent owner would be as follows:

1. They breed VERY fast.
2. Most rodents spend a lot of their time trying to escape from their cages.
3. They can fit in very small cracks.
4. They have sharp teeth.
5. Don't ever try to pick one up while it is sleeping.
6. Give them occasional treats of fresh vegtables. (Not too often)
7. If they gnash their teeth at you they are mad at you.
8. They are unbearably cute and fuzzy.

Thanks for the tips Geek! Stuart Little, Chipper, and Oliver are all males. I made sure of that. I didn't want a mice farm. (giggle). They are pretty cool and come to the side of the cage when I call them and they eat their treats from my fingers. Do have any tips on keeping their condo (cage) clean and odorless?

As you know..I have rats not mice..I do know that they love this that shine..they will put them in there house with them..so like foil or the the foil on your cig pack..you should just drop into the cage for them to play with...

There is a pellet kind of litter that I use in my cage..It seems to help keep the odor down...
