I am after some indoor plants that do not need much sunlight.
I have a planter box near the front door, and I am not sure what plants to put in there.
Hope you will be able to help.

Thanks inadvance.

I know you could plant peppers there if you have some seeds left. First plant them in a small cup, than transfer them into there. However, I do not know the preference of peppers. (Sunlight/ No Sunlight)

How big does the plant grow BoyScout? Just trim it to suit the size you want?.

Make sure you only plant one to two seeds, caerr. I would imagaine you would trim it to size, but I am not an expert gardener. maybe somebody else will know the answer. I'll go search the internet- might find some info.

Caerr, I cannot find anything about red peppers. As I said before, maybe someone else knows. However, I did find out that plants with brighter foilage will more likely have more of an essential of sunlight. Darker foilage will have less of a need for sunlight.

How bout a ficus (Is that a green thumb or a worm that is going to eat the ficus?)
African Violet for something small.

Thanks BoyScout and Jar, I don't have green thumbs.
But I will try the peppers tho, and see what happens.
Thanks again.

I had quite a dull room last year and peace lilies seemed to thrive in it (plus they look really classy).

Great Idea Fay! Peace lilies love the lack of light!
