It's been a while since we've had a Geography game here, so here's a difficult one that's really quite fun.

They show you a photo and you must mark on a world map where you think it is.

I've played a couple of games now, but my best score by far is 10058 - I was on the correct continent for all of them.

My best is 12546... I was within 250 kilometers of four of them and nearly fell off my chair!

I'm starting to learn to look for clues like the language on shop fronts, and the side of the road the cars are on. Got South Africa confused with Australia once, and that hurt my points.

I think I know the image you mean... I nearly went for SA on that one but I've been to Oz and the nothingness seemed eerily familiar. Not that I went near that actual spot but a lot of it looks the same. Many Asian countries drive on the left too, and not just former British colonies. Good exercise in geography though, thanks for the link.
