There are kept in memory even after they disappear from the screen. That happened to me once and it still counted.

I believe you have to make the score after it is posted as your target, so when it lowers you cannot use a previous score, but must play again to achieve the lower target.

The problem is that there is no diagram. I tried logging in under both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, and the diagram will not open.

I PMed you the link to the diagram again. It seems there was accidentally one image left hosted offsite (on my server from where I tested it) and the server was down while you played.

Hello, everybody.
I am currently at Chapter 4, Exploration Stage, the Bookbinder. The requirement has not been lowered after the passing of one day, as it happened so far. My questions are:
1) is it necessary to fulfill what I am asked to do or will it be lowered after a certain amount of time?
2) if I decide to go back and return there later, will the requirement be tougher, as it happened in Chapter 2, where I had cut four heads but decided to retreat and, upon returning, all the 9 had to be severed again.

If a score has not been lowered after 24 hours, then it will never get lowered.
To answer #2, no. I believe the hydra is the only example of a requirement being tougher like you described.

I am still at Ch.4, after the Exploration Stage. At the first cave, I managed to find the correct option, which led to the second. A wrong choice took me back to the first cave. I clicked the option which, at the previous time, was correct and now it was not. Do the correct options change every time you are forced to go back?
Finally, if this post is spoilerish or something similar, please delete it. Elsewhere, I would like to have an answer.

I am at stage 12 and today I got something called "Crystals, Crystals, Crystals." I had to score 1210 or higher in the Word Game, and then enter a code. When I tried to enter the code, I got a message "Page does not exist." Don't know what's up, but this obviously is a glitch of some kind.

You probably had the wrong code. If you get the correct code, you should see a quiz - otherwise it's well possible that your code does not reference a valid quiz and thus you will get an error.

No, I don't think so. This is what it says: Quiz either does not exist or is not online yet and cannot be played. Return to Homepage.

The code is trying to load a quiz. If you have a wrong code, you can get either a wrong quiz or a nonexistent quiz. In your case, it's the latter. Check your code and try again.

I know that this thread has not been very popular of late, but I think that nobody has yet congratulated dellastreet and CmdrK on their Ascension (unless I missed something). Great job!

Just out of curiosity - would it be possible to see the latest stats on how many players there are on different chapters of the game?

How is everybody doing on this game? I got stalled at one point, but I think I'm back on track again.

Do post the current stats. People haven't exactly been rushing through this quest.

I'm currently trying to get myself out of a maze. Wes is evil, lol.

I have now authored 3 quizzes for AQ; the last one took me 10 months to get motivated enough to complete. I have attempted to resume, but it seems I can't get out of continuing to write more quizzes before I leave this page. Can someone please tell me if I have to run through the whole list before I can move on? If so, I can just forget it now.

There's a limit to how many quizzes will need for this stage even if you enter it with the worst possible preparation. It's definitely less than the complete list.

Ah well, another 6 months to get motivated then! 8^(

I hear you, Windrush. I haven't made a quiz in 7 years and I am on restrictions. Shouldn't a Statute of Limitations go into effect? Just kidding. Honestly though, I'm a different person (and player) since then.

How did this get moved to the quiz authoring area?

Restrictions are usually lifted not just because of time, but because the author has submitted some quizzes that show they have learned to avoid the issues that originally led to the restriction. If you feel that there are reasons why your restrictions should be lifted, at least a post here means that some editors will be made aware of your situation, and it can be investigated. This doesn't mean anything will happen, though. I note that you currently have a quiz submitted (in a category where I cannot edit it), and will ask whoever edits it to consider the situation - they will see both your writing history and your current quiz.

Thank you, looney tunes. It isn't that big of a deal. I wasn't planning on writing any new quizzes anyway. I had to do one (or more) for the Quest. I'm hoping I won't have to do a lot more, but if I have to I will. From this experience, I can tell that I have learned a lot since 7 years ago.

I have to admit that I actually did have fun writing this. Who knows, I may decide to do more in the future without having to create one as a requirement for something, lol.
