When does this happen? At any time or only when you open IE?

This is an error message which usually results from out of date Java so update that and see if the pop up stops, er, popping up.

The first thing to do is uninstall any old versions of Java on your machine. There are instructions here:

http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/remove_olderversions.xml

(Using the proper Uninstall tool is preferable to using Control Panel because it will remove all the various bis of Java littered around the Registry.)

Then install the latest version of Java which is here:

http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

With luck, that should fix it. However if you still have a problem in IE, let me know - there is a fix for that too. smile
