Do you make special homemade treats for your pets? If so, please share them with us.

Liver Brownie Treats (dogs love them)

1 cup water
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup beef liver
A pinch of garlic powder

1. Mix ingredients in a blender until smooth.
2. Spread into a well greased brownie sized pan.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
4. When cool, cut into bite sized pieces.

The brownies freeze well, and some dogs even like them frozen.

My dog loves frozen stuff. She loves it when I drop an Ice cube on the floor. Last night I dropped some frozen broccoli (a stem piece) on the floor and she gobbled it right down!

My dog also love to play with ice cubes. It's the cheapest toy in the world for her.

When my dogs were puppies and they were teething, I used to freeze carrots and give it them. I guess it felt good on their gums and they ended up loving carrots for the rest of their lives. Just don't ever give a dog corn on the cob.
