I thought I would bring this up in case any of you would like to compose a tribute to one of your beloved pets.

The best pet I ever had was a medium size mongrel called Prince when I was a child.He was great.He used to come and get me at school sometimes (usually at recess time) that always got a laugh from my fellow pupils although the teachers didn't find it as funny.He was also very protective where I was concerned,he even bit a policeman's leg one time .He must have thought the officer in question was too near me (about 10 yards). Luckily the officer was really understanding when my Mum explained that the dog was only protecting me from a stranger.Sadly he died when I was about 12 or13. Still he will always live on in my memory.
