When I try to modify Isley, the database only offers me Bob Paisley, so I have been unable to modify that one - it is in my list of things I want to change but can't. This includes names that have been listed here before, but which are still hanging around - Rudolph Isley and Martha J Coston need to have their names removed from their description, and a couple of fictional/animal entries should be deleted.

I've only just realised that I should have tried harder to win the monthly awards much earlier. (duh!).

Wondering why it's such a struggle, then discover that practically everyone ahead of me on the leader board are using Easy questions, while I'm on the Hard category. It will be virtually impossible for me to get the monthly award on the games where I'm listed as Champion.

How does this work? If I don't play a certain game for a couple of months, do I get downgraded to Easy level?

Once a champion, always a champion. However, you can still choose to play the Easier game in Who Am I, but your scores won't count for the team game, if that matters to you. (At least I think you can make that choice - I always play Difficult for the team competition, so get lumped in with champions. I see the Easier option, but don't want to waste a day's score checking to see whether I can play Easier and get a set from that batch, or whether it still scores me against champions.)

Thanks LT! I'll persevere for now, but might try Easy mode if I get desperate.

That's been on my list to fix for a while, but when I enter Isley in my search box, the system only yields up Bob Paisley as a match.

Another one that is on the list because I cannot delete him - the database throws up Charles Barkley when I ask it to give me Arkle.

That's so weird that you can't search the shortened name! There should be some sort of delimiter in there to allow you to truncate the word. Something like |arkle|. Probably a database thing Terry would have to rewrite (and I'm sure would be a bear).

LT, maybe there should be a copy of the list of ones you can't remove...in the first post of this topic? Or somewhere that we can double check? Just a thought. smile
