He is not one of Britain's biggest landowners after the Queen, as the property is owned by a trust. Otherwise he'd have to pay death duties!

But not in reverse

Dagwood Bumstead = character from Chic Young's cartoon "Blondie"

So the above entry might change to Janet Waldo = American voice actress of the cartoon character Judy Jetson

Chris is a nickname, one that he doesn't even use. All his credits are as Christopher, not Chris. I doubt you are nearing a character limit on the target name so the use of a short 'nickname' would seem out of place and even misleading since nowhere is he known as that.

Actually, his listing at imdb shows him credited as "Chris Meloni" for several appearances in both film and TV.

The title of the IMDB page is for Christopher Meloni. I see an entry where he used Chris Meloni for a character name: "Chris Meloni Freakout Compilation (Short)
Chris Meloni". Those are character names listed with the production names. When actors use a different name than their own as the credit name (not the character name), IMDB lists it as "Credited as_____" or as listed at the entry for 'The Small Hours (as Chris Meloni)'. Under the full bio they list "Birth Name Christopher Peter Meloni".

As I said in my previous post, there are several (six I make it) instances which show "(as Chris Meloni)" in the link I posted, including the movie "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" and episodes of "Law and Order". Perhaps your suggestion of using both Christopher and Chris would work, but I don't think it absolutely necessary.

Doing a google search for Chris Meloni automatically goes to Christopher Meloni, the preferred name. Does the actor write his own name in the cast listing for minor roles? Probably not. But I'll check on that with my good buddies Chris Walken, Chris Plummer, Bob De Niro and Mike Caine.

Jack Kennedy and Chuck Heston might refer you to Liz Taylor, Dick Burton, Boz Dickens and Will Shakespeare.

On that IMDB page there are well over 100 listings unnamed (meaning he's Christopher in them) versus 6 (?) that say Chris. His facebook page is for Christopher Meloni too.
