Do you have kids that have most of their evenings off? Do you want them to do activities with other kids? Here are a few organizations that offer the chance to do those activites, with some general information.

Boy Scouts of America
Where to Sign Up: Check phone book, most councils have an office. Also, you may get signed up through your church, a VFW, or another non-profit organization that sponsors the troop.
Fees: Varies, mostly about $20.00 a year. Campouts are also a price (for food.)
Benefits: Responsibility, leadership, citizenship, and outdoors skills. Friends, camping, hiking, biking, first aid, boating, and learning.
Ages: 1st grade-4th Grade (cubScouts)
12- 18 (Boy Scouts)

Girl Scout's of America
Where to Sign Up: Same as Boy Scouts, except Girl Scout's call their main office a 'Girl Scout House'
Fees: Yearly and varies, activites are separate.
Benefits: Family, citizenship, crafts, house, and general skills. More 'household' type than Boy Scouts.

4-H
Where to Sign Up: Same as above, except there are fewer 4-H Clubs.
Fees: Yearly, and vary. Activities are separate.
Benefits: Farm skills, home skills, ranch skills, outdoor skills, and arts skills.

Little League Baseball
Where to Sign Up: Usually Borough Buildings have sign-ups in March or April.
Fees: Varies, but one solid fee for the whole year. There is also usually a required fundraiser.
Benefits: Athletics.

There are also many local clubs like Chess Clubs, History Clubs, Youth Groups, Cooking Clubs, that may exist around your area.
