If no-one signs in by midnight Wednesday 31st July, the deadline will be extended for three days to midnight Saturday 3rd August (with a grace period of 2 or 3 hours). If no-one signs-in before the extended deadline we may still run this with 17 runners, which will save KrivoyRog. I'm working on a system to run this with an odd number of runners; without a bye.

Three games were picked by everyone, or all bar one, and one was picked by no-one, which left us with a truckload of players scored 5 or 6 goals .. but only two of the nine FT-PL games ended in a draw.

Last season's FT-PL comp saw three players face relegation: FussBudget, George95 and KrivoyRog .. all avoided the drop into the grandstands as szabs went MIA and only one new player signed in: kevinatilusa. He's a March Madness regular who's taken a plunge into UK football. Welcome aboard!

Sypher has been busy posting all those FAPL results threads for last season but still found the time to study the papers and pick a loss at home by WBA to Southampton. It was more than enough to down BxBarracuda, the defending titleholder.

There are 38 rounds in the FA Premier League but we only play 34 rounds in the FT Premiership with 18 players. This year we're skipping the FA Cup quarter-finals weekend in early March, the FA Cup semis weekend in mid-April, plus the two rounds played from Boxing Day to NY Day.

kevinatilusa wins his first game, in style. N-Bomb was on the receiving end of an 8-4 scoreline. How'd he pick Man City to lose? He ended up with eight correct .. next best was five!

Most of us scored 4 or 5 but, again, there was just one draw in the FT-PL fixtures. George95 has featured in both those draws. After just two rounds only two players have a 100% win record .. ditto at the other end (two players have lost both).

Dizart collected this week's wooden spoon, to bring to an end his spoon-less streak at 37 weeks (it stretched back into the season before last). George95 and paper-aero extend their streaks (see bottom of this post).
