It also starred Peter Lawford and Ann Miller. Fred plays a dancer whose partner, Ann Miller, leaves the act in order to pursue a solo career. He then tries, unsuccessfully, to turn Judy into a carbon copy of his ex partner, before coming to realize that she is a very different person. Eventually, of course, there are happy endings all round.
