This 1937 animated musical fantasy was based on the German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. It was the first full length animated feature film. Many regard this as one of Walt Disney's greatest films. The story is of a lonely princess (Snow White) who lives with her wicked stepmother who is a Queen.
The Queen is jealous of Snow White's beauty and has her sent to forest to be killed. The huntsman cannot kill her and lets her go and, while wandering through the forest, she comes across a small cottage belonging to seven adult dwarfs.
The Queen eventually casts a spell on Snow White and she falls from a cliff and is unconscious. However, Prince Charming kisses her and breaks the spell and they all re-choice as the Prince takes her to his castle.

He befriends a millionaire (Harry Meyers) who gives him $1,000 which he gives to the girl for surgery to recover her sight. He is jailed because it is assumed he stole that much money from the millionaire. On release from jail she still mistakes the tramp for the millionaire but only realises her mistake once her sight is restored.
