They are picked off one by one by a man set on murder. All eight were accused of a murder by the man. A manuscript in a bottle is discovered that contains the horrible plan.
10. Sandra Brown

Sandra Brown was born in Waco, Texas on March 12, 1948. She has won the International Thriller Writers Award for "Thrillermaster" in 2008, and she has served as president of Mystery Writers of America. "Sting" was released August 16, 2016. Set in the bayous and swamplands of Louisiana, Jordie's brother is working with the F.B.I. to gather information and testify against his last employer. Shaw Kinnard kidnaps Jordie to try and get information about her brother.

This book has all the makings of a great mystery.
