Disney Villains...After the Movie Quiz

Though many Disney villains have memorable deaths, others survive their movies. Can you figure out the villain by what fate awaits them AFTER the movie's action? (Note: I'm working from the original films, not direct-to-video sequels.)

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. I'm alive, but running for my life! And if I manage to get away, I'll face charges for the abduction and attempted murder of a girl. The clock's ticking, tell me who I am!

Answer: Captain Hook

The villain of "Peter Pan" is last seen fleeing a crocodile over open water. Earlier, his group abducted Tiger Lily and left her to die in a lagoon. Peter rescues her, but the charges still stand...if Hook can evade the crocodile that once swallowed a clock and his hand.
2. I had a pretty sweet gig selling cheap labor, but now my child trafficking ring has been discovered and I'm in for a long haul in the slammer! Which Disney villain am I?

Answer: The Coachman

He may be unnamed, but the Coachmen who takes the boys to Pleasure Island is one of the more frightening Disney villains: during "Pinocchio", he appears to get away with turning boys into donkeys and selling them as slave labor in salt mines, where they'll have arduous, and likely short, lives. But thanks to Pinocchio, the police know why the boys have been disappearing and arrive with their arrest warrants!

The Coachman and Stromboli, who forces Pinocchio into his puppet show, are voiced by the same actor, Charles Judels.
3. The actual criminals got away while my mother's house is in ruins! What's more, I'm being imprisoned for taking over my brother's job! Who am I?

Answer: Prince John

Prince John from "Robin Hood" acts like a king while King Richard is away. The film ends with the castle in flames and Richard returning to the wedding of Robin Hood and Marian. Richard won't be happy that his brother John posed as King and overtaxed the poor for his own gain! In real life, the reason for most of the taxes John levied was to pay a ransom when Richard was captured.
4. I didn't get killed when my henchmen turned on me, but now I'm going to court for kidnapping and illegal mining of gemstones. Which Disney villain am I?

Answer: Madame Medusa

Medusa kidnaps Penny in "The Rescuers" to search for a large diamond. In the film, she is last seen climbing a pole to avoid being chomped by her alligator pets. Afterwards, I imagine, the police arrest her for abducting Penny. Mining diamonds without permission is also illegal, so she'll be in trouble for that too.
5. Help me! My subjects have tired of what they deem extreme punishments for minor offenses, and I'm being overthrown! Which Disney villain could I be?

Answer: The Queen of Hearts

In "Alice in Wonderland", the Queen of Hearts' mantra is "Off with their heads!" even for the smallest infraction. Needless to say, after the film, her subjects rebel and oust her from the throne.
6. I survived my movie with no bodily harm, but now I've got a massive car repair bill, some traffic violations, and multiple counts of abducting animals! Who am I?

Answer: Cruella de Vil

Fifteen counts of dog-napping, if the reports that the other 84 puppies were "bought and paid for" are accurate. Cruella from "101 Dalmatians" tries to run the truck carrying the dogs off the road but only ends up destroying her car. Reckless driving, endangering a driver and 101 dogs, dognapping...she faces fines, jail time, and a suspended driver's license at the least.
7. I thought I got off lightly with a damaged leg, but now I'm being served a court summons for trespassing with the intent to poach protected animals! What's my name?

Answer: Amos Slade

After his dog Chief is struck by a train, Slade from "The Fox and the Hound" enters a nature preserve in order to kill Tod, whom he and Copper blame for Chief's injury. Slade is caught in one of his own fox traps and is nearly killed by a bear before Tod saves him. He's last seen being tended by Widow Tweed, but no doubt someone has reported him to the authorities.
8. I suppose I shouldn't complain too much--I'm being forced to learn things in school, but am in a young body again. Which Disney villain am I?

Answer: Yzma

The ancient Yzma from "The Emperor's New Groove" tries to kill Emperor Kuzco but only succeeds in turning him into a llama. At the end, she's turned into a kitten and sent to Kronk's school, where she learns to speak squirrel. She has one of the easier fates for a Disney villain.
9. I'm stuck with two children who are still unmarried, and no one to help us dress or clean up! What's more, I'll have to bow to my maid at court! Who could I be?

Answer: Lady Tremaine

Lady Tremaine, from "Cinderella", gets off easy for a Disney villain: her punishment is to see her step-daughter, whom she always abused, raised to the position of Princess, and later when the King dies, Queen. In Grimm's version of the fairy tale, the stepsisters mutilate their feet and are blinded by birds, but the stepmother's fate is unknown. If Cinderella is merciful and forgives her step-family for their cruelty, they'll have to bow to her...not to mention wash their own clothes, clean their own rooms, and cook their own food from now on.
10. I'm not such a villain--I saved the hero's life, and he actually let me escape justice for my crimes! I've gone straight--no more lawbreaking. I hope. Which Disney character am I?

Answer: John Silver

Silver spends much of "Treasure Planet" trying to get Jim on his side and help his pirates take control of the ship. Once they get to Treasure Planet, the planet begins to collapse, and Silver chooses to save Jim's life over getting away with a ship full of treasure. Afterwards, Jim lets him go, rather than alert the authorities, and Silver strikes out for a new, hopefully legal, life.
