The character of Poison Ivy was created by Robert Kanigher and Sheldon Moldoff in 1966. She first appeared in "Batman" #181 in the story "Beware of -- Poison Ivy!". She appears at the Gotham Art Museum when she seeks to challenge for the title of the top female criminal. The original contenders were Dragon Fly, Silken Spider, and Tiger Moth, and Poison Ivy puts herself to overtake these three.

Earth X was a world where the Nazis won and only the small group known as Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters opposed them. The three non answers were the last three remaining Earths along with the prime two. All five were merged and thus a majority of the super powered inhabitants survived. Earth S was the world of characters bought from Fawcett including the Marvel family (Mary, Billy and Hoppy the Wonder Bunny among others).
