Arya and Eragon speak through their minds together and she tells him where to find the Varden.

Murtagh reveals he is the son of Morzan but is against Galbatorix. Murtagh doesn't want to go to the Varden beacause he fears they will think he is an enemy.

Only two people had killed a Shade before Eragon. Eragon became a hero and the Urgals were defeated. The book ends and we are left with many questions about what will happen next. I can't wait for the next book.
